  1. Seven games in a month doesn't personally bother me, more games the better. I just think if the fixtures were more evenly distributed at better times it would lead to more people going.
  2. I guess not being allowed to fixture games is something the SFA need to sort out with UEFA/FIFA if they want to improve the state of our game. I know it is not as simple at that, but not being allowed to play at bog standard SPFL game on a Tuesday night because a game is taking place thousands of miles away in another country is just another example of bureaucratic madness. Maybe it is black and white, and this is a situation that can't be changed but I would make it an urgent priority if we are to improve things in this country. Would the majority of fans prefer to stay at home and watch Atlectico Madrid - Chelsea in April, rather than their own team on a nice Spring night? Maybe some would. Allowing Champions League / Europa League fixtures to dictate the fixtures when we only have one team competing regularly doesn't seem a sustainable way to continue. Why is the future sustainability of small clubs being dictated by higher powers whose actions are only furthering the gulf between the big and small clubs. The financial disparity between Celtic and the rest of us is a perfect example.
  3. I was just having a look at our fixtures in the next few months. In November and March we are only playing 2 games but in January we have 7. I know there are reasons for this (Scottish Cup ties, International games), but it seems crazy to ask fans to pay for 7 games in January. Surely there could be a way to spread them out more evenly, or even just have more games towards the end of the season when the weather is better. A lot teams are really struggling for crowds right now. Is asking fans to turn up in the freezing cold in January, when they are also skint after Christmas the way to get fans back to the games? Seems like madness to me. Is anyone in power looking at the way games are scheduled in this country? I know clubs rely heavily on TV money and are at at the mercy of their scheduling, but surely there has to be change. Asking Aberdeen fans to travel to Hamilton on Friday night, and us to Aberdeen this week is bonkers. The nutters and financially able will be there, but the fixtures dates and time are killing it for the majority. Thoughts and feelings?
  4. Dreadful keeping, why didn't he even try to stretch out an arm?!?! I know it took a deflection but he turned his body to watch it going in the net.
  5. Surely that was a foul on Hammell on the lead up to the 2nd goal, hand in his face!?
  6. I thought Celtic were a disgrace today, especially the big bald Swede. Odense were also guilty of pulling shirts on a number of occasions the other night. Maybe it's a Scandinavian thing, where they get away with it more over there.
  7. I'm on the 12.05 to Stanstead, then flying to Copehagen in the evening! See you at the airport!
  8. +1 Getting excited, see you all there!
  9. Can't find a place to stay in Odense, all the hostels seem to be full. The rest is out of my budget. Anyone have a spare bed in one of the hostels that isn't going to be used? If not, a park bench will do for the night I suppose.
  10. Does anyone know of any dodgy live feeds for the game today?
  11. Yes! First game i have managed to see since the 0-0 draw with Rangers at start of season, loving it. C'mon ye 'Well!!
  12. Up at 5.15 this morning! What an end to the game! So gutted!
  13. Holy shit, you are a legend, amazing!!!!!!!
  14. So excited! In Colorado right now, first chance I've had all summer to tune into a game live. I'm going for 1-0 to the 'Well!
  15. Anyone having any joy with those links? I'm trying to tune in from the states, but not having much luck.
  16. I'm glad it's all sorted, and he is finally away. Over the last year I have been really dissapointed with the way McGhee has conducted himself. I can appreciate that McGhee wants to progress his career, but I feel the constant comments in the media about bigger and better things have been demeaning to the club and the fans themselves. I wish I had a list of the articles where so I could list a few of the things he said. I am a true believer that if you a really any good at your profession, good luck and progression will come your way no matter what. There was no need for McGhee to constantly comment on other clubs. I wish he could have kept his head down, focused solely on us and if a move came along it would have been nice to let him go with our best wishes knowing he had put us in a better position for the future. I would still like to thank him for the first season in charge though. I was away in the States for the first few games and had heard all the chat about how well we had been playing. One of my first games back was the Hibs away game, that night will live long in the memory. He is clearly a good manager, who gets the best out of his players. His positive mentality when analysing games pre and post match is also something I really enjoyed. It's just sad that he has been constantly trying to worm his way out over the last season. Motherwell FC means so much to many of us, and the way McGhee has behaved has left me with nothing but distaste for the guy. I hope the East Stand tears him to shreads next season, I really do!

    Hearts Tickets

Sweet, might be running a bit late to the game, so i'm glad i can turn turn up last minute now without having to worry about getting a ticket.
  19. Is there not going to be any sale of tickets at the ground before the match? If not, i wont be going.... So stupid, the crowd is going to be gash because it's on the tv and folk like myself who want to go can't get hold of a ticket.
  20. 4-4 against Celtic a few seasons back. Think we were down 3-1, and Kinniburgh scored a header to make it 4-3, it was bedlam in the East Stand. Skippy Sunday is defo right up there also.
  21. Skiving off your work for midweek reserve games, it gets worse!?!
  22. It's crazy, the crowd will be rotten for that one.
  23. Can't see him wanting to go to Hearts to be honest, if he does move i reckon it'll be back down south. Hopefully this story will be motivation for him to batter in a couple of goals tomorrow night.
  24. Voted for Porter because of his hat-trisk, but i was tempted to vote for O'Brien.
