  1. The money we'd get from the land Fir Park is on would most likely be enough to build us 10 new 'Craig stadiums! I would rather keep him and have a chance of 3rd or 4th than sell him and have none. Let's be honest, he's been the only well player (bar Sutton's first 5 games) who's even looked like scoring.
  2. Sell now = balance the books Keep 'til the summer = balance the league table I know what I'd rather have.
  3. Nothing about mon_da_well for chairman...? Very good idea to put up a summary of the meetings, makes people actually realise you guys are taking the time to do this.
  4. I'd rather have a proven goal scorer for another 6 months than 150k now.
  5. Very true! Anywhere above 600 or 700k then aye, nae bother! Any less then I'm happy for him to leave in the summer after seeing out the contract he said he would.
  6. Very true Andy. The fact I'm driving (or being driven) shows that. We never drive to games!
  7. Yes, I am volunteering for the job. Although I think my opinions of the Trust may hold me back, I am officially volunteering Is there no one better suited to it already in the Trust? You have to resort to asking me?
  8. Change your chairman. Is that a solution?
  9. Looks a belter! Signed up.
  10. All the best Kenny, hope ye find a decent club and show just how good you can be.
  11. I wish the MST the best of luck with their aims for 2009. Prove me and whoever else wrong and actually do something, that'll go a long way towards changing opinions.
  12. Well you tell me why I should join the Trust? What is the Trust aiming to achieve in 2009?
  13. Well for a start you could make the Trust seem a more attractive group for fans to join which would in turn, help you reach your goals. I accept you're trying to do that but how long will that take? I have came across as I care a lot more than I actually do about this My main arguement against the Trust is I don't think you guys do enough to justify your existance and I fear I may never be proven wrong. And as the Seagul says, you only have to represent yourselves, so far so good with that.
  14. Read the "About Us" section here. Again, read the "About Us" section here. Why should I or anyone else join the Trust when they don't show any decent forward movement? A single voice won't be heard as you say, but who's to say I or anyone else wouldn't be a single voice within the Trust?
  15. Of course, a Trust member on the board would be beneficial for the fans, although to raise any issues like the ones above you don't need a seat on the board.
  16. Well it's down to you guys to attract members and you aren't doing a very good job just now!
  17. That statement is baffling. How can it be irrelevant? The fact that some posters are in the Trust is a positive thing as they can raise these issues on our behalf.
  18. Don't know if I'll be going to this, gony be a bit of a c**t getting to Dundee on a Sunday I think.
  19. How do we approach the Trust with a complaint though? I've certainly never been told how to go about that, nor do I know anyone who has. And I would be more than willing to change my opinion and would love to be proved wrong! What % of fans is that?
  20. That's what I was saying. Or trying to. Or forgot to... Here is a platform, Steelmen online. I'm sure Gaag would set up a subforum where a menber of the Trust could anser questions or deal with complaints or problems. WOuld the Trust be willing to do that?
  21. What I meant was you seemed to jump at the chance of that meeting as it was a chance to look good to the rest of the fans and actually seem like you're doing something. But I think the trust should be doing this kind of thing off their own backs. I mean, a few people who are in the Trust regularly post on here. Therefore, they must have read in the past about fans having problems at Ibrox, Parkhead and more recently Fir Park. Why then, have you not brought these and any other problems up at any Trust meetings? Or do we have to go to you directly to complain?
  22. Brilliant post mate. The Trust are a minority and it seems they are never willing to get there hands dirty; by which I mean they never make and worthwhile contribution to the 'Well fans. I honestly don't see the point in the Trust because of this.
  23. And yet the 'Wellboys can get one no problem? Strange that...
