  1. What did that contain? All I saw was two (well received from the East Stand) mini games of football in the centre of the park. Was that it?
  2. Humphrey was great against St Johnstone but very poor against Aberdeen. His crossing also ranges from excellent to very poor. He does have the skill. He just needs to be more consistent.
  3. Bits in bold = couldn't agree more. Fancied a draw today so not too disappointed....although we did create enough chances to win. Aberdeen have Rangers next so could be four SPL games in a row for McGhee without a win. More importantly though a hard game for us next week in Edinburgh. Again wouldn't be too worried if we pick up a point next weekend.
  4. Beaten 1-0 by St Mirren today.

I have noticed the new SPL numbers have the SPL Trophy on them (at the bottom). Is this what you mean?
  6. Wouldn't necesarily agree with the "goalie's vision" bit but do agree with how does it manage to create an atmosphere?
  7. Impressive stuff. Hearts away is our next one. Very tricky tie and should be a belter of a game. Would settle for the last score we got there.
  8. Great result. The minute we scored our second it was never in doubt. Would have liked to have seen Gow get more match time to up his fitness. Wouldn't have taken Humphrey off but would have subbed Sutton with about 20 to go. Reynolds was excellent today and if it wasn't for Randolph we could have been 1-0 down within 1 minute. St Johnstone were poor but I don't think they will go down. Still convinced it will be the other Saints. Big game next week. Oh how I would love to see McGhee's Mental Breakdown Season 2010-2011 take another leap forward next Saturday. Another couple of bad results for him in the league (and if we beat them I'm pretty sure their next game is Rangers at home) there will be calls for McGhee's heid. A win next Saturday and we should be in 3rd. What an incentive.
  9. 3-1 for Motherwell. Blackman (2) and Gow getting the goals.
  10. Wonder what the hold up is for our game?
  11. A week after the 2nd round to do the draw and a week after that to decide which night the game is played on. Not the best organisation I've seen.
  12. Cracking result. We got off to a similar start last season as well. Hopefully the lads will be able to keep the run going. Be interesting to see how we fare against Rangers and Celtic this term.
  13. I wouldn't be unhappy if he gets himself a really good move in January as that would mean he has produced the goods for us.
  14. Maybe Brown thinks Gow is a better player than Humphrey. If that is the case then imo Gow in, Humphrey out.
  15. Silly question time but I take it they are playing EK Thistle?
  16. Just seen this. Good news....although I do agree Gow has looked like a bit of a slag. In saying that....I couldn't care less as long as he puts a shift in. Which I think he will do to try and get his next move. Or another contract with us. Play him in a creative role and I think we could do quite well.
  17. I agree but sometimes needs must. Blackman certainly looks like he could get us a few in that position as well. I'd certainly give Murphy a try in that position agsinst St Johnstone.
  18. I've been thinking for a wee while that Jamie Murphy might step into the position JOB had with a front two from Blackman, Sutton (likely these two), Casagolda, or McHugh. Jamie has the ability to run at and beat defenderd and I would think he would grt us more goals as well.
  19. All very good but many on here think we deserve and should be able to afford a slightly better cock. So to speak.
  20. This talk of players in new positions just looks like a way of telling the fans that we have depth and that is why no one got signed. Or we better find someone in the squad to play on the wing as we cannae afford anyone else. Let us hope Hutchinson can run at folk and beat them with ease.
