They weren't though were they? What they were though was streets ahead of us, something that Breidablik won't be.

First European game in their clubs history, play in a worse league than our own, and away from home to a team that has a good bit of Euro experience from last year to start. They might turn out to be a decent, fit, organised team but nae way will we get gubbed.

Look at the difference between our first leg game and our second leg game against Llanelli. I could see us struggling at Fir Park but being much better in Iceland due to another week on the training ground.

That explains it the lack of the hoop but we definatley had one in our Euro games last season. Must be a new directive. Ridiculous. Ayr were robbed simple as that. No way we deserved to win. A draw would even have been sneaky. Worryingly, Ayr played the same simple pass through the centre of our defence about four times. It was dealt with but a better team/better players would have been more clinical. Humphrey may prove to be Gannon's least succesful signing for us. I'm just not convinced by him as a winger and unless he converts to be a solid and reliable right back I don't think he will be a week in week out first choice pick. That is twice I have seen Randoph play and I still haven't a clue if he is any good Had very little to do and I can't recall him making a save. A striker is a major priority. JOB needs to be replaced. We could do worse than Shuker. Is Fitzy injured or something?

Certainly sounds very poor and could get Motherwell (deserved) negative publicity if true. Hopefully someone from the club will post in this thread with their side of the story and (hopefully) some positive news.

We do need a striker that is for sure. Still not convinced Murphy can be a first choice pick every week and McHugh is still a season away imo. Not surprised Gazapo is away and glad to hear Shuker is a possibility. Although if he has other offers we could miss out.

No hoop as well. Wonder what is going on there?
