Quotes were his "season was effectively over" but he is out for "5-6 weeks". Hopefully, he will be fully fit again before the split arrives to give us further options in what could be a massive period for us.
I'd still put Lukas back in if he was fit next Saturday. Murphy has scored a few important goals for us this season but I still feel he needs to bulk up a little.
Was impressed by Jennings, Hammell, and Sutton especially. Went for Suts as I thought he showed great determination, fine link up play, and as always was solid in the air.
I must admit, being at the game, I (and the people sat around me in the Main Stand) were all surprised O'Brien only got a yellow due to the aggression he showed and pushing Miller after the tackle.
Pretty turgid stuff today. Football seemed to be in slow motion and that was down to the pitch. Cut up really badly in front of the Main Stand almost instantly and the ball bobbled all over the place anytime it was in this area. Players were taking two and three touches to get it under control. It all appears to be working in our favour at the moment as we are adapting to it quicker than the opposition.
Quite surprised given where Hibs are in the league and some of the players they have that their support was so few. One of the flatest atmospheres at Fir Park I have seen in a long time and it was so quiet the Hibs fans were trying to provoke the home supoort by singing somgs about us Seemed like there wasn't as much in the East Stand noisy corner as usual.
However, all that aside it was an excellent three points for us. Hibs were never in it and they look like a team tha has lost a lot of confidence. Another clean sheet and with Aberdeen and Dun Utd all losing it was a pretty good day all and all. Hopefully Accies can get a win tomorrow as well.
The only prediction that is guaranteed to be right is Buzz getting his voice slaughtered, mostly in the first half when he is down at the South Stand end.
If Hibs don't win they will start to get more scrutiny. Especially after getting pumped by a just promoted lower half of the league team. Never been a fan of Yogi's personal brand of positivity. Always comes across as over confidence to me. I do think though it will be a score draw on Sat though.
Aye but my point is we beat them four times in one season. Last year was W-1, D-1, L-1. This season we have been owned when we played them. However, St Johnstone are currently beating them 2-0 so now is as good a time as any to beat them.
Aye but on many an occasion Sutton has been a target man for high balls launched by Crags. That is pretty much Killie's only route to goal. Well it was until Calderwood took over. Good height on him, good build, and I like his 'agression'. If we could get him I think Brown would be more than happy to take him. As previously stated he will be wearing maroon next season.
Hutch is one of the last players I would be wanting to leave. Lad shows great potential if he can stay injury free.
Encouraged by the news of us looking at keeping Ruddy past this season.
