Craigy Thomson is the ref today so dodgy pen number three is a shoe in.
Celtic missing Tierney and Griffiths, hope to replicate the performance from earlier in the season, any points most welcome.
Goram had a poor run at one point and Woods was given a chance, only for him to repeat that Gordon Durie Scottish Cup moment by blasting the ball under no pressure off an opposition striker which cost the side. Woods done very well to last 9 years at Fir Park, i think the 1994/95 and 2002/03 season he was first choice only to lose his place Howie wnd Dubourdeau respectively. 1997/98 was the only season he played almost every game. The sad fact with keepers is that people will remember the mistakes more that the saves they make, i think the Durie incident was the first time I was ever pissed off at a Motherwell player.
I believe he was a Celtic man, but I have also seen him take in a few 'Well games over the years with the most recent against Hamilton at Douglas Park, certainly enjoyed the goals with his family.
Dick Turpin part 2. Harsh result but they happen. Penalty shouts will be interesting to see, miles away from Ciftci one in first half, but Main was clipped after he crossed in 2nd half, weren't getting much from McLean today.
Actually enjoyed the game, just didnt seem to get the break of the ball or over played the final ball at times when the simple setup was required.
Been mentioned we have enquired about taking Newcastle's Freddie Woodman on loan. Wonder if movement is happening with Carson, although a few tabloids suggesting Celtic now want Kieran Westwood.
Who needs forwards when the opposition are willing to score some fine goals for you. Bullet header from Souttar.
Poor game so far tbh but more than happy with score so far.
Ross County: McCarey, Fraser, Naismith, Routis, Gardyne, Effiong, Davies, Draper, McKay, O'Brien, Van der Weg
Ross County subs: Fox, Souttar, Dow, Schalk, N'Gog, Eagles, Keillor-Dunn
John Beaton the ref for the game.
Anything been mentioned in regards to injuries? I know we won't be seeing Frear or Cadden but hope Carson and Hartley can make it.
Can see the damage from the Celtic game clearly in the South Stand. Part of main stand also cut off.
Game wise glad to see the return of Carson, Cadden and Hartley.
He gave Adam Livingstone his debut at end of last season. I think MacLean will be next to cement a first team berth but can see him being loaned out in January.
