I think Fitzpatrick is a player that does the donkey work. You won't see any flashy touches or flicks, but you will get a good solid shift from him and he will always try to get forward to support the attack. They sold the "office" (No43, the first one past the car park) when they moved the offices into the stadium (I know this 'cos my mum wiorked there at the time). I think they bought one a couple of doors along a few years later. I remeber guys like Don Goodman and Ritchie Foran lived in it. Don't know if they still have it though.

When the FP club was under the stand it was run by a committee and paid rent to MFC. When they moved across the road, it allowed MFC to sell the house in Fir Park street and move the office under the stand. The other big bonus for MFC was getting the Alpha Squash Club off it's hands. It was a white elephant. I don't know if they still play the national anthem, but they certainly used to. They would announce it beforehand so that people could leave if they didn't want to stand for "The Queen".

'91 Cup semi-final. Had to be smuggled past the Polis amongst 4 of my mates 'cos I could hardly walk. I blame my mate for leaving his Tonic unattended on the bus as he got off for the loo. I thought it would be a great laugh if I downed the bottle and left it empty on his seat for him getting back on, this was after I had been drinking since opening time, big mistake, I have no recollection of the game. Stayed sober for the replay.

Hopefully we can keep hold of Klimpl at the end of the season. Does anyone know how long his contract with Midtjylland has to run? Obviously he would be easier to keep if out of contract.
