He definitely was a character, and always seemed to remember who he'd taught by nickname. Sad to hear of his passing.

Spoke to one of my Rangers supporting colleagues and he reckoned that Celtic played within themselves to beat Rangers on Hogmanay which gives me some optimism that if we turn up on the day we can make a game of it.
