  1. Got through on the phone today, and a very nice lady sorted it all out for me when she heard how far I had to travel. No complaints about the front line staff from me.
  2. That's what I thought when I phoned on Friday. Unfortunately, I was told they would have to phone me back "whenever", and that hasn't happened yet.
  3. That's the one, thanks! http://video.stv.tv/bc/sport-football-2008...l-rangers-1976/
  4. Anyone got a clipping / photo of Joe Wark scoring against Rangers? It would have been some time between 1976-78, and there was a really good photo of him in mid air. If all of this is a false memory, please accept my apologies. edit: maybe this game -
  5. I phoned the ticket office yesterday - they were too busy to sell me a ticket over the phone. I queued for as long as I had time for this morning, and don't fancy driving back to Motherwell on Monday. I did, of course, get my renewal letter in about a month ago, and I am, indeed, an idiot.
  6. Has anyone bought an adult Cooper Stand ticket online, and got a free child ticket? When I've tried it, it looks like it's going to charge separately for the juvenile ticket - I'm thinking of risking it, and trying to get the money back at a later stage for the juvenile ticket if necessary. Do you think that'll work?
  7. Either it's been incredibly busy, or there's something up with the online system: only 18 seats available in the entire Cooper Stand at present!
  8. Maybe we need to do this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...25000-each.html
  9. On page 2 of this thread, he said As I said a bit earlier, possibly on another thread, it's been given a pretty big build-up and it wasn't meant to be like that.
  10. And didn't I hear that the turf at Wembley is expected to be replaced up to seven times in the next year?
  11. We're going to go the Barcelona way and have "Oxfam" on the shirts.
  12. Have a read at this to remind yourself what happened: http://www.hibs.net/message/showthread.php?t=182141
  13. They pointed out on Radio Scotland earlier that it would be possible for both us and Hibs to lose on Sunday and still get into Europe, with a record of one win between us in the last 18 games (might not have been 18 - please correct me if necessary). Scottish football's great!
  14. Some funny stuff on the Hibs messageboard: http://www.hibs.net/message/showthread.php?t=182234
  15. I've not seen the Forbes goal v. St Johnstone for a while, but I remember wondering at the time if he'd meant it. Is there a chance it was a desparately misplaced cross that was lucky enough to go in? *runs away and hides*
  16. BT website says "On Demand from 10pm", so it doesn't look like it'll be shown live. In fact, the 3pm games are never on live, are they?
  17. Bit of a shame that, I thought he had potential.
  18. We'll score first, and it'll finish 5-1. To United.
  19. Nice sentiments, but no chance, sadly.
  20. It was a long journey home...
  21. Don't know about the 80's, but they definitely beat us by that scoreline on a Sunday night in 1999.
  22. I think that's the best we can hope for, unfortunately.
  23. Ah well. Somehow doesn't seem surprising.
  24. Home to Kilmarnock, November 1976. We won 5-4, Stuart Rennie had to get stitches in his head at half time. I still remember my first glimpse of the turf, and tasting Bovril for the first time. Brings a tear to my eye.
