  1. A bit gutted to see the big hadsome bastard leave. Always guaranteed you double figures per season and that kind of return is very hard to replace. Great record over his two spells with the 'Well and wish him all the best. We currently have a team with only one recognised striker at present, so top priority with players coming in for me.
  2. Best ending to a podcast yet!
  3. Good luck to him, but fear this move will backfire. The talent is there for sure, but needs consistent first team football to progress at a steady rate and don't see him getting that at Leeds. Disappointing he never gave us another year, considering how we stuck by him through his injuries. Money is king, especially with his choice of agent. But he gave us good memories against Sevco (especially that interview) and wish him no ill will. The compensation is more than what we normally get for a player moving on, and I have high hopes this will be the last time we lose a young prospect under freedom of contract for a while.
  4. Think the lack of movement will be down to folks being on holiday. Expect things to pick up in the coming weeks.
  5. I wouldn't have Faddy back as a player now either I'm afraid. The one thing left he has to resurect his career at a higher level is adapting to a deep lying play maker role in the middle of the park, similar to what Giggs done.
  6. Good listen. Loved how he kept refering to 'Well as "we". One of my all time favourite players and good to hear his stories and some very sensible ideas.
  7. Quite a lot of former players on they shopping lists... You know we love to tout the return of former players on here. Humprhey and Higdon anyone?? EDIT: beat to it!
  8. Quite suprised Moshni only got 4 games. Duncan Ferguson got 4 months in jail for his assault. Expected 8 minimum. Maybe SFA have half arsed knowing he is offski anyway. Also suprised a Kerr being off the hook.
  9. Just listened to both the play-off podcasts at work today. Twads is such a lad. Be good laugh for a few beers, although think Andy had enough when you recorded it! Good effort again guys.
  10. Thought Kerr always done OK when played in his favoured position, not RM. He's the only one I would have possibly kept around. ZFA is another who never quite reached his potential after promising start with us. Better option than Straker for me. With the amount going, plus question marks over a few others, think it will be an eventful summer for us with 5 or 6 new arrivals. Would love to keep Skippy, but very much doubt it. Grant would be good to get back on loan, and wouldn't be against a move for Laing. Long was apparently heading back as part of his contract extension, but new manager there so plans may change on that front - which wouldn't be a bad thing in my eyes. Would love Ainsworth and Erwin to stay, but think both will be off. Glad big handsome has been offered new deal and expect him to stay. Proven goalscorer and predict Marvin will set him up for a good few next year.
  11. http://podbay.fm/show/307483087 Just had a listen, don't think Keevins was as bad as being made out. Not by his standards anyway. Chic Young worst of them all. Total fud!
  12. Anyone got a link for the Clyde 1 podcast from last night? Will have a wee listen at work for a laugh! EDIT: Never mind, found it!
  13. This. Although would add that he still hasn't fully won me over, be he gets at least 6months grace now to show us what he can do. Got a feeling he could prove me wrong. Hope so.
  14. Johnson. His form has been superb. Think he's a real diamond
  15. Little package at start of Sportscene looked quite smart...
  16. Just getting to bed. Met two Hibbes that insisted on buying me beer for cuffing the Orcs. Work tomorrow. No fucks given! Moan the 'Well.
  17. You do know Castle Greyskull is the home of the heroes. I think Mordor is more fitting...
  18. Johnson for me. Few mistakes but summed up our performance tonight. Special mention to Long, McManus, Ainsworth and Pearo.
  19. Still rather gobsmacked. Oustanding. Will digest with a few beers and post my thoughts tomorrow.... Pub I was watching in it, only 10% of the Rangers fans were present when they scored! If you had offered me 3-1 this afternoon I would have bot your hand off...but there goal hurt tonight and leaves Sunday with all to play for.
  20. At this rate, Sunday will be a friendly!! Ibrox ain't a sellout anymore!!
  21. Come 4.45pm on Sunday, its either going to be the greatest moment since '91 or the most gut wrenching horrific moment, probably, ever. No middle ground. That has me proper shitting it. But also excited. It's not an impossible task, its a very realistic task. Part one tonight and I've not been this pumped for a game that I'll just be watching on the TV ever. If our boys stand tall and do what is required, there is no reason why we can't win. Thats the big if for me though. Will it be the side who pumped Accies and St. Mirren at Fir Park that turn up, or the team that went to Partick, St. Mirren and Hamilton? Really starting to feel positive that we maintain our top flight status. COYW!!
