  1. Anybody hear it last night? Listened to it on the radio on the way home last night, it was tremendous, comedy gold radio. Basically just a bumbling buffoon that doesnt know when to stop talking. Absolutely hilarious and even the boys off Radio Scotland were in stitches.

Chris Porter to Hearts? Who wouldnt want to work for a manager like him?

The new Ivan Golac I think!!!

  2. Attacking-wise, thought we were pretty poor, O'Brien was the best player we had going forward, put in a lot of effort but loses the ball too often and his end product is dreadful at times. If he keep up the work rate and can work on his delivery then he might even win me over.

MOM was totally undeserved in my opinion last night, The Klump was the stand-out for me and looks like a real find. Big Boabs days are numbered.

  3. Klimpl for me, closely followed by Craggs. We looked really solid at the back last night and it is obvious how much we have missed Craigan at centre-back, Reynolds looks much more accomplished when he is being organised by Craigan. The Klump had a cracking game though and looks like a real find.

If he keep up the work rate and can work on his delivery then he might even win me over. Clarky was non-existant, but was playing out-wide for a large part of the game. Porter was dominated by Berra, apart from the obvious. We are also crying out for a midfielder who will take a shot on goal, how many times did Lasley or Hughes get into position and not take a chance.

Overall, I thought Hearts were poor and we could have beaten them by more had we been more ruthless.

  4. Jim O'Brien was brilliant yesterday, he gets my vote.

    ???

Must just be me then, but I thought he was terrible.

Can't cross the ball, runs as though he has shat himself, looks really weak, poor decision-making and that fresh air swing. There were a couple of things that he done well, but IMO they were out-weighed by the negatives. Andy Roddie without the well gloves.

Thought we missed Fitzpatrick in the midfield, ans we didnt have the same balance. The defence played well and Porter had quite a god game also.

  5. Thought Reynolds had his best game in a long time yesterday.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Jim O'Brien is completely useless? Terrible football player and I cant take to him at all.

Why did Mark McGhee only make one sub and why did he leave it so late??? We were crying out for a bit of freshness after 55mins.

  6. See I thought he (edit: O'Brien) was a massive improvement on what we have been suffering for the last month or so and was pleased with progress and him showing potential

    However

my mate who was home for the festive season and as such seeing his first match for a wee while was raging at how bad he was performing particularly how many times he was getting into a position to cross and then totally fekin it up.

SO I think its all down to expectation :O

    or lack of!!

  7. Thought Fitz had a decent game yesterday. Id farther see him play at left-mid than Steven McGarry.

Fitz is a solid worker, might not be the best player in the world, but he gave us a bit of balance in midlfield.

  8. O'Brien is utter pish!!!!!!!!

A winger that cant cross the ball is useless. Plenty of positives to take from the game yesterday but he wasnt one of them. He got a '4/10' and 'awful display' from the N.O.W, (which was probably the only accurate piece of journalism in that rag today) and that summed him up.

Andy Roddie without the 'well gloves.

  9. The ticket office shuts at 3.30pm today and DOES NOT open tomorrow, sales are not good apparently and the club are trying to get Accies to open a 'pay gate', but the Polis might not let them. Why oh why is the ticket office shut tomorrow, the club is yet again shown to be a joke!!

  10. dont beleve all of what you here, Stillie was and is a right twat

, he is one arrogent git

I can quite believe it, as I have heard that said before!!

But that doesnt change the issue, he cited one of his reasons for leaving the club was that the USH was unusable and he didnt want to be the one to carry the can when Boyle was the one who wouldnt part with the cash.

  11. I know someone fairly close to Stillie and some of the things that he has told me about the day-to-day running of the club are not good at all.

I have never met Stillie, but seemingly he was no more than a puppet for Boyle and was CE in name only, Boyle pulls all the strings at the club and Stillie didn't like a lot of the things that Boyle done on a daily basis.

  12. MFC knew that the undersoil heating didn't work at the start of the season and this is one of the reasons why (along with the mental knew price structure) Ian Stillie chucked it, as he didnt want the blame for the debacle that we now have.

We are an utter joke of a club, we really are. I've been a season book holder at Fir Park for 4 years now (although been going for 20-odd years) and I have never once had a letter of any sort from the club ie renewal forms, letters from John Boyle etc.

The full place needs a full overhaul.
