I'd offload McGarry and Yassin. Bring in a right back, another striker and cover for O'Brien should be go. Ruddy and Lukas are musts. Question marks over Craigan, Lasley, Fitzpatrick and Smith, but all four should stay until the end of the season imo.

I think we can dismiss the...we complain about refs so they'll do us...argument. The decisions we've had, i.e. the amount of times we've played against ten men is nothing to do with a referee's love of Motherwell, or a soft spot. Its simply the way we play and break seems to invite other teams to foul us. Our limited bookings is down to good discipline, not a fascination from the referee's of all things claret and amber. Years of whinging from the old firm, jim jeffries, gus mcpherson and craig levein havent produced a referee mafia against these groups and individuals. Any decision against them has generally been due to poor refereeing. As will be the case with us. There is no big conspiracy, the SFA wont be riding through the alleys of Motherwell with a shotgun (or dodgy painted on machine gun) hunting us out. If Jim Gannon feels so passionate about refereeing then he must address it. And who knows, maybe the bigwigs will take note....i doubt it. As for the media, i dont think our 4 paragraphs a day in the redtops is in danger or increasing any time soon when they have the old firm to worry about.

I'll applaud them for having the balls to sign up. I cant imagine in my wildest nightmares ever wanting to join the army and do what they do. Thanks to the servicemen and woman, like the ones on our park at half time, i dont ever need to. Russia, Germany, Austria, Finland, Greece Sweden and Turkey are all examples of countries where military service is mandatory and people dont have the luxury of choosing. So, aye, thanks all who sign up so i dont have to.

Miller and McGhee now both agree the ref made the right decision. Stuart Dougal got it spot on in the paper yesterday. The boy was being assessed and although the rule is a joke, not to give the caution would of seen him being marked down by his powers that be. Alot of balls to give the decision and felt the ref had a good game.

Never been a super Lasley fan, dont think he brings anything to the table that Jennings/Forbes/Coke dont. Paul Quinn? The boy on occasions quite rightly copped it from Well fans. He could defend (at times) but composure, skill and decision making were attributes all missing in my book. Players from last year that i would take back? Clarkson, Porter and Buzz to explain why he thought Brighton would be a good career move.
