  1. After watching the full re-run last night again, am I the only person who thinks we deserved to win by a couple on Sat? McCall says a draw was a fair result, Shiels says they deserved to win it?? Apart from hitting the post and Jennos block at the end, we were never in any danger, Randolphs had next to nothing to deal with! Yet we have had numerous corners, much more crosses in to the box, Higdon could av had at least 2, Jenno 1, Humphrey 1, Crags 1, Hateley 1, plus hitting the bar from the corner...... Maybe just ma specs have too much C&A tint in them
  2. The investigation team are already on to you boys
  3. Should be a good game of football this one, hopefully both teams don`t just cancel each other out though! Team picks itself, 3-1 home win! Don`t mind an earlier ko on a Sat, means go to the game, back in time for Soccer Saturday, watch the coupon The Sunday midday slot though
  4. We got a game the mora Team picks itself at the moment, interesting to see how Crags and Clancy do, after not covering themselves in glory last time round v Hibs. Clancy has played well last 2 games though, so if he has another good `un tomorrow, SM has a decision to make next weekend! Were on fire on the road just now, 1-4 (Higdon 2, Law, Murphy) top off an incredible 1st round of games C`mon the `Well!!

    Faddy

Numpties give a player in green n white hoops hassle, can`t be having that! Be gutting too see Faddy playing for them, but thats life. At least it should give him a look in for the national team again, hopefully.
  6. I demand a full investigation .... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-15075141
  7. Good wee opportunity to see what the youngsters are all about this Saturday if your up to nowt else. Quite fancy heading along to this.... http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2011/10/05/youths-in-cup-action/
  8. What a load of bull that is. Does Higdon not play a big part in defending set-pieces?............Does he not bring other players in to play?.........Doesn`t set up goals either? He also bullies opposition defences. Kris Boyd could score goals, yes. No danger he helps out the rest of the team the way big Higdon does.

    Dundee Utd

Can`t disagree with any of that. Murph has dipped dramatically since the opening day of the season, maybe a wee goal or 2 against the Hibees will get him back on track again If McCall aint wanting to change the system/shape of the team though, give Forbes a run and let Nicky Law play Murphs role.
  10. A think we should get a song composed for big Higdon! Prediction: Dundee Utd 0-1 Motherwell (Higdon )
  11. I couldn`t care less about wheather Aberdeen fans will have a shite view of the game on Sat, but anyone think theres a chance they will be down the bottom tier? Ano it may be a ploy to make it harder to cheer on there team, but even a hate it when the away support is so far away from it. Our boys up the end of the East will drown them out anyway
  12. Agree on all the shouts for Mchugh and Forbes to get a start, gives us better balance going forward and lets Las sweep up any problems we may come across. Actually really looking forward to this 1, got a bit excited earlier and went for a 5-1 home win on the score predictor (And the fact av got Aberdeen to get relegated @ 16/1!) If we get the win, go 4pts clear of Hearts, who go to Perth on Sun, it will be the ultimate up n down week of following the `Well, and sets us up nicely for heading to Tannadice before the International break! (In which we will hopefully have big Hutch back for the Hibs revenge match!) `Mon the `Well!!
  13. Higdon is a better all round footballer than John Sutton, though the latter has a better work rate. If the big man starts getting the supply Sutton had, the goals will definetly follow! As many have said, he ain`t got a decent partner just now, as its Murphy that needs a rocket up his arse! Also, a heard some moron shout abuse at Higdon on Sat in the East stand. What good is that gona do anyones confidence?!
  14. We beat Dunfermline 4-2.....And we have every right to be confident of giving St Johnstone a going over. Surely its better to be optimistic, than how your coming across? Entitled to your opinion like, just seems a rather strange view your taking. 3-0 `Well, Higdon hat-trick...
  15. Anyone else notice that the OF`s "best 2 performances of the season" have came against us! Why do we crumble so badly against these imbreads?! Why do we not get right in about them, like we did last season?!
  16. Forbes, Mchugh and Lawless in particular done themselves no harm at all tonight, even big Gary Smith when he came on. Yes, it was only Clyde, but there link-up and touch were all spot on, hopefully the gaffer liked what he saw also and gives them more of a chance, even if just coming off the bench! Comfortable night, even Lee Hollis showed us what Sieb can do......he can do better `Mon the `Well!
  17. Could form a decent partnership with big Higgy...... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11699_7120232,00.html
  18. Can`t disagree with this, but why can we not try something different and play Humph through the middle, working off big Higdons flick-ons? Am sure he started out as a striker at West Brom, and a think it could work a treat: Randy Hateley Hutch Crags Hammell Murphy Las Jenno Law Humphrey Higdon Potential there if you ask me.....
  19. Away ye go! Higdon did everything he could do, no his fault hes got no support and Humphrey cany cross a ball!!
  20. Big IF.........But if we can get the 3pts at the weekend, even a wee draw, looking at the next few fixtures,we got a decent little run! But Rangers will be desperate for the win (Not that they will be all of a sudden invincible!) but we have to at least turn up, or we will come crashing down to earth!! Really lookin forward to it, lets do this!!! `Mon the `Well!!
  21. Humphrey seems to play much better at home, so a would keep him in for that reason. Though, to be fair to him yesterday, he did his job defensively well, which will also be crucial against Lee Wallace. Harsh to leave Forbes out, but Lasley has started well, therefore deserves to retake his place in the startin 11. Well overdue a win against this mob, be great if big Higdon can get off the mark in a 2-0 win C`mon the Well!
  22. As much as a hate Levein, he is right not to pick Murphy. Plays a dozen good games on the bounce, he has a case! Murphs a good player, but has a bit to go yet before hes a top player.
