Hutchinson was superb yesterday and he really looks like he will be a commanding centre half. Not seen much of Page at all mind you. Good luck to them.

Played well today and once again when the pressure's off we can give a team a humping. Accies were nothing special mind you neither was the two wonderboys in McCarthy and McAuthur. Craggs guided young Hutchinson at the back on his debut and he seemed positive. Big strong lad and hardly set a foot out of place. Sheridan was brilliant again along with Clarky. Murphy was ok. Always good to give yer local rivals a humping! Mon The Well! Edit : Also big mention to OnTheFringes off the boards today. Was excellent.

I'm with Shaka on this one. Very worrying when you're priced out by a team who's just been promoted to the top league for the first time in 3/4 years. Even though folk say they are nothing to get excited about i'm sure i'd be happy with the fact that we're actually signing players to increase the size of the squad. Squad is far too small! If this is the case then i can't imagine us having the wages to spend on Leigh Griffiths.

Or we can just find another partner for Clarkson. With Hughes ready to leave in the summer he'll easily be our key player next season. And probably the player with most ability. You don't get called up for Scotland for fuck all.

Maybe in a couple of years ye might actually see a game with the way you lot are going! Anyway, some of the football we played to day was superb. The front three linked together so well. The move for O'Brien's miss at the end was just a joy to watch. Also, how much of a better team do we look without John Sutton? Yes, he may have scored a fair amount of goals this season but today without him we managed to score 3! Last time we scored 3 goals in a league game was against Dundee Utd at the start of the year!

Why Jack Ross is in the squad is beyond me, surely their's a better, younger right back to come in? Has Paul Quinn got an injury or something?

Right another problem lies here. Constantly on these boards we have folk going let's get right behind the team etc but really it is the usual wee section that is up off their arse singing at Fir Park. Yeah you could show encouragement in your own preffered way a suppose but when watching the game from yesterday on the old sky plus it was like a reserve match. You could hear the players talking to each other during the game etc. Even at a conference game you wouldn't hear that because the fans always have something to shout about their team. Sadly at Fir Park the only time we shout is when we have something to moan about!

Aye, i dunno what it is with Setanta but every game thats on it, wether it's SPL, EPL or FA Cup, they all seem to be absolutely dire to watch! The coverage of it all is murder aswell, with pundits such as Scott Booth and Stuart Lovell talking absolute drivel! Bring back SKY!

I'll be there. Was considering giving 2 of the away games a miss since football costs an arm and a leg nowadays, but loyalitys loyality and i'll no doubt be a mug and take in some non entertaining, nothing to play for, usual shite top flight relegation group football! I really don't know about all this. Tbh i think Mcghee will resign. We're going to lose a min 5 players this pre season, with the 3 on loan and Hughes and Smith. Plus i think we'll need to sell Clarkson and Reynolds to get a bit of cash into the club. Next year could be going back to a few years to finishing 9th etc most years. If we wanna do something next year we'll really need to pull off a few cracking signings but it's just not going to happen. Back to the same old same old Motherwell for the next couple of years i'm afraid! My mates an East Fife fan infact and apperently his club is in some state. Both of us said to each other...this time last year eh?

2 points dropped yesterday and 2 points dropped a fortnight ago up at Rugby Park. Not good enough to be honest. If we had up'd our game in the first half we could've got another 1 or 2! They were gash but came on to a game in the 2nd and got the equaliser. But once again we fail to capitalise on a 1 goal lead!

Great result for us. Thought United were denied a stonewall penalty in the second when Klimpl brung one of their players down? Caddis was it? The move for the first goal was brilliant as well but Sheridan should have buried the game in the first if it wasn't for Kenneth's clearence off the line. Shout out to Quinn and Hughes. Both were superb today! Pity about Hibs winning mind you!
