They are both stepping up. It's a bigger step for McGinley but even for Lamie our system places more demands on a centre back than Livi's and he won't have the plastic advantage.

Having seen the teams everyone else is putting out I feel quite confident about this season. Lamie and McGinley are question marks but we definitely have better options in midfield and up front than the other 9 clubs.

Their fans will crack up if they appoint a failed Oldham manager. There's absolutely no chance.

The teams that were promoted this season have Biesla and Billic as manager. You would imagine Bournemouth would be looking for a similar high profile manager to bounce right back.

Five subs are confirmed so there should be plenty of game time to go about. It'll be grim holding onto a result against the Old Firm and they bring another three attackers on for the last ten. There will be loads more fouls as well.

Carroll was excellent for us. He doesn't take many risks on the ball but still chipped in with assists and goals. His defending was very good and he knew when to rely on his pace/strength and when to foul.

I think with better players around him in Turnbull, Hastie and Lang we will see a lot more from Watt. He's definitely got more link up play in him than Long who just likes to get the head down.

I don't see Long being very effective on the left of the three. If it's 4-3-3 then it's him Watt and White all going for one spot.

Lang looks like a decent addition. He has a good variety of goals on his highlights videos which is always a promising sign.

If a car load of people will go to the game and pay between £65-£105 I think they will pay £20 to watch it in the house. I was expecting individual match prices to be the same as the cheapest adult ticket.
