You get some decent games but the amount of time the ball is on the air or out of play is high compared to other leagues.

What is the total staff costs in the accounts?

When the Well Society was first starting the player wage bill was around £2m so if we are paying out an extra million we probably spent about £3m on players last season. If we paid out a million quid in bonuses for getting to two cup finals i'd say we need to look at the bonus system as that more than the gate money for one final. It would explain why the players can't be arsed in the league though!

If the increase is £1.35m then we are clearly well above of McGhee's first spell or McCall's good run.

Is the wage bill lower? Given that turnover seems to increase every I doubt it. Record turnover surely means record wage bill? There's obviously a bit more too it than that when comparing with 2008 but i suspect it's still higher.

Being in decline relative to other clubs like Hibs, Aberdeen and Hearts who recovered from previous mismanagement is inevitable. We have been in absolute decline though. We have had a manager who treated his job as a part time role. We have allowed training to happen without qualified coaches present. We have signed dozens of players not up to the standard of the league. We currently have a manager who not only plays an unwatchable brand of football but prides himself on it. Those issues are internal ones.

I don't see the point of looking back to 2008. The issue is that we have been in decline since June 2013 due to mismanagement in the dug out and in the boardroom.

There's not many Scottish players in top European leagues either. I watched highlights from their cup semis and final on Youtube just there. It looked better than anything in the 270+ minutes of LC semis and final I watched.

George Newell is so far out the picture he can't even make a bin list. Hopefully we've got him doing odd jobs to earn his keep. Rose is a good player other than not being able to tackle, head the ball, dribble or shoot.

Tanner has had a few set backs. His injury got infected and he needed another op. I doubt we will see him this season.

There is no way the average first team wage is 45k p.a. It might be the average right across the 40 odd registered players we have. As Ya Beezer said some of the stuff last night was dreadful. Grimshaw couldn't make a simple pass to Tait in the final third and Rose's attempt at a counter attack was embarassing.

That's embarrassing from our manager. I don't think anyone but him was watching Grimshaw continually kick the ball out the park on Saturday thinking we had too many footballers. The sooner we are shot of him the better.

I thought he was better than Campbell and Grimshaw (and Maguire's first 45). It's not so much the subbing as the comments at one player. Bigi has definitely took over from Ainsworth. We didn't have many experienced players today. Bigi was poor but not the worst, Aldred was ok, Tait is out of position and Main was much better than Johnson. The bigger issue is playing without a proper rightback and leftback and not having quality up front. That is down to the manager.

What a surprise. It's pretty obvious we don't work on attacking and now we have it confirmed.

A manager that changes formation three times in 45 minutes, drops 10 men into the box when Livi have a throw in and plays with zero width definitely won't get a mention.

That was terrible. Allan Campbell looks half asleep, Grimshaw has done nothing but kick the ball out the park and Danny Johnson has reverted to being murder. We had about a dozen misplaced passes in the opening ten minutes and it looks like the park is in our head. Livi play zero football, they just lump it and look for shys.

Good to see Robinson giving Maguire the start over Donnelly.

Funnily enough I did mention it at the time. I said the club should have been sold to the society immediately but I was told this wasn't possible by Dempster. What then happened was the Society bought an absolutely worthless 5% of the club for £250,000. Then Boyle started threatening to sell us to South Americans despite having given up his shares ie Dempster and the other trustees would do it. After that the rest of the majority shareholding was sold for £1 (which Dempster said was impossible) to Hutchinson who then started wasting money and almost got us relegated. Now we are paying off a huge bill for the pleasure of having Baraclough, Straker, George Long, Wes Fletcher and other diddies plus paying for scouting systems and a club restructure which lasted about five minutes.

We have to pay them back but we should cut the very grateful act. Both of them fucked up the club due to poor management but it's our club so our debt to clear. Boyle has made a fortune by ripping people off via administration law multiple times and Hutchinson is a Tory crank who spent his career shutting down local industry and moving it overseas. It's perfectly understandable that many of our fans don't want to pass their wages onto these two millionaires.

It's either to stop the turnstyle operators from putting their hand in the till or to allow the club to fiddle the VAT.

There is no point trying to figure out what is going on at Accies. MacDonald is extremely dodgy and Barry Hughes is apparently involved as well.
