  1. my attitude with scotland these days is if they win then great. if they lose i'm not that bothered because burley, levein, brown, weir, miller, naismith, ect are wanks anyway. i'm much more intersted if faddy is involved or even mccormack or mcculloch.
  2. i actually think hartley might have been taking the opportunity to hit keith in his already damaged ribs as much as lashing out because of the challenge. he is a sleekit wee prick.
  3. beckhameqsue cross from craggs for the first it was a pretty decent game, quite a few of our highlights not included. * murphy had another good shot from range * jeffers had another good chance * hutchy breenged up the park on a quick break from their corner, did a nice wee turn then made an arse of the shot. if we can continue making chances at this rate we should beat accies.
  4. i think people just enjoy moaning more than winning. i was quite shocked to see the reaction to the rangers game on here. i had left ibrox thinking i'm glad that's out the way the next three games are huge and then came on here the next day to see people wanting mccall sacked and threatening to chuck it, totally daft. last night we had a belter of a performace that proved we have plenty of character in the squad yet it doesn't get a 1/4 of the reaction. if we get top six and another semi final this will go down as a great season, everyone should get right behind the team, we've got everything to play for in the next 9 matches.
  5. nope. we need a day of hate on april 2nd. mainly because it's goood fun.
  6. they said lunchtime today. i had my lunch fucking ages ago
  7. ----------randy hateley hutchy cragggs gunning ----------jenno ---lasley-------forbes --------murphy -----jeffers----sutton then we went 4-4-1-1 when we made the subs.
  8. when are these highlights going online?! i'm gagging to see murphy's long rangers and the one where he went round the keeper (thought it should have been a pen), FITB's fake then shot that langfield tipped round the post and forbes belter of an early free kick. mon to fuck bbc! i don't think last night would have been down to trying to get it up brown alone. we've built up a fair bit of frustration recently with the semi, the killie game and pumping at ibrox. the celebrations at the end were about far more than brown.
  9. he played well. solid at the back and made a few good runs forward even if the final ball was a bit off. he was blowing out his arse after an hour again though, hopefully his stamina will pick up a bit with more matches.
  10. just had a look at the lower division forums on p and b. halsman got a good write up for dumbarton. he set up the first two goals in their win. innes scored and apparently played well for albion rovers but then got sent off for a bad tackle. he seems like a bit of a mentalist.
  11. just back in. superb. our first come from behind win since the 25th of october 2008! great performances from everyone. as others have said forbes was a new man, by far his best performance in a well shirt. hateley had his best game in a long time as well, he was holding things together at the end. it was great to see how much it meant at the end of the game, theres not many things better in football than a hardy band of away fans and players celebrating a victory over their old judas manager on a freezing cold tuesday night in february. for all the mumping and moaning on here we have a good set of players with a superb attitude. we wanted it more than aberdeen tonight and you could see it right through the team. i really hope there will be a few people feeling like diddies in a couple of months as a strong end to the season is well within our reach. there's been a lot of shite posted recently about mccall, jeffers and even some thinking craigan's injury was a good thing. the team have done us proud in europe and the league cup and we're doing well in the league and the scottish. it's time for some support.

    Aberdeen

went for hateley. if we see that desire every week we'll have a player on our hands.
  13. mcghee 21 wins in 44 games = 47.7% brown 21 in 43 games = 48.8 if you add in the defeat to hearts at tynecastle when brown was on the touchline then it's exactly the same. brown had an easier schedule though. mcghee had 9 games against the old firm, brown had 6. mcghee had 10 games against edinburgh clubs while brown had 5. brown played 3 games against part timers in breidalbiek and brechin while the worst team mcghee faced were raith rovers. mcghee's record in the first season is clearly better imo.
  14. who picked him? it seems fairly obvious and the reason he got it is because he's enthusiastic and willing to work with the resources we have (which is the same reason gannon and brown got it). is he the man for the job? we need to give him a chance to bring in players in the summer, then a judgement can be made. as for the squad, we've extremely thin just now but in a way we've been victims of our own success. clubs down south can triple the wages of guys like o'brien, hughes, coke, reynolds and it's very difficult for us to replace with the same quality. succesive managers have chosen to bring in loan signings rather than invest the money we do have in permament players, this is going to come to a head in the summer when it's likely that the only outfield players older than 22 at the club will be craggs, lasley and hammell. this summer is huge for us. the financial results come out next week. we'll have a better idea where we stand then.
  15. i think we'll see a performance tomorrow. if nothing else you know that las and jenno will be up for it and hopefully most of the rest of them will feel they have a point or two to prove. there's too much fuss being made about the result on saturday. if rangers had took their foot off the gas in the final half hour no one would have mentioned anything, instead you had jelavic desperate for a hat trick and healy gagging for a goal.
  16. in what way are the club ripping the piss out of you.
  17. i've seen us lose by six plenty of times. i've seen us score six as well, it happens. i couldn't fault anyone for effort yesterday we struggled because of a lack of organisation, experience and quality.
  18. who in particular do you think let us down yesterday?
  19. i don't understand this at all. 1. "in dundee" an unavoidable drawback of drawing dundee united away. it's slightly over an hours drive, plenty people do a longer commute every day. 2. 1.15. the dundee game was at the same time and there was no problem. if you want to get pished you'll be pished, if you want a pint you can get a pint. what's the difference between 1.15 and 3 on a sunday? 3. sunday, most leagues in europe split their fixtures over two days. we might lose some people who have to do other things but we'll probably pick up as many if not more people who are busy on a saturday.
  20. there's no way craigan would bail out on his country when he had had the armband and no way mccall would tell him to. they're not brown and lennon. team for saturday if craggs, lasley, hammell and saunders are all out randy hateley hutchy page gunner humphrey jenno meechan jones murphy sutton average age 23!
  21. hopefully not. saunders and hammell are out for saturday already.

soccerbase are dodgy with the euro games. they've only got him down for 4 when he's played 14.
