I don't think the break had anything to do with it. The Steve Clarke wannabe manager decided that pumping long balls forward against Dundee would be a winning strategy. The performance was down him alone. The reality is we have one decent player in midfield and none up front. The opposition know this and can nullify us.

The table is beginning to tighten up now so we really need something from this game to keep us ticking over. However the lack of quality in the squad is really starting to be exposed and there's no doubt that Kettlewell will start Davor despite the fact that he's hauled him off early for being useless in so many recent games. Hopefully Kaleta is fit. Looking at our options bringing in Tavares rather than a centre mid on deadline was incredibly stupid. I'd like to hear Kettlewell talk his way around that one. Gordon's tackle is identical to the one Greg Taylor put on Spittal 12 months ago that was only a yellow. Gordon is bottom six average anyway. Not a huge miss.

Kettlewell, Robinson, McInnes, Gray and Goodwin are all absolute dinosaurs who are playing the percentages that if they keep games tight and play nice with the media they will keep their jobs. The league would be far better without any of them.

He'll start Davor, Halliday, SOD and Robinson despite them being total dead weight. I can see Balmer getting exposed as well. He didn't look too clever defending on Saturday.

It'll require two departures from the dug out because Kettlewell and Frail are hopeless in the transfer market. We'll be signing guys from pub leagues in New Zealand if they are left to their own devices.

Our best performances have come from scoring from set pieces. The actual performances didn't look too different to yesterday. We scored 6 set piece goals and a penalty from a set piece across our 4 wins. As we saw yesterday that's not sustainable and we need the forwards to contribute much more and given what we have seen of Robinson he's not up to it. He's decent at dribbling but hopeless at every other aspect of the game. If he was Scottish or from our youth team he would be getting hounded.

He changed his starting line up at Easter Road at half time because it was dire. If Sparrow is injured then he didn't have many options but guess who's fault that is?

Looking at the stats and Robinson has managed 1 shot on target in 8 league appearances. He'll no doubt start the next three games.

We were getting by on scoring from set pieces and Oxborough making big saves. In the league we scored a decent goal at Pittodrie, Miller's against St Mirren and the one the Hearts left back gifted Sparrow and that's it from open play. To start today with the same set up that was brutal in the first half against Hibs defied belief.
