Aye any decent Hibs players will be sent to a better club in the same ownership group. The ownership group will send Hibs players that they have to play in the first team.
-
It's going ok for Girona just now but wait and see what happens if Man City get the book thrown at them over the 115 charges. There's also a difference between being owned by Arab Royal families compared to American corporations that will wind you up at the drop of a hat if the wind changes. The main thing is that it's a fucking red neck to be a feeder team after operating as a stand alone club for over a century. I'm guessing Weir's comments were floating the idea of us moving in this direction. Interesting times ahead.
-
Davor, Gent and Spencer have been big parts of a team that can't win. Not disasters on an individual level like Wilkinson but still part of an overall poor window.
-
HIbs are applying to the SFA to let them be Bournemouth's B Team. Dundee seem to want to be taken over by Burnley. If the SFA let this happen it will be huge for Scottish Football. This pretty much explains why so many Yanks got interested in Scottish football at the same time I've no idea how it works with the SPFL but if the 11-1 voting system applies to this we should oppose it. Anyone who suggests we become a B team should be tar and feathered outside Club 100. Edit - The arseholes at the SFA approved it so it'll come down to whether us, Killie, St Mirren, Hearts and the Old Firm can put a stop to it somehow.
-
Obviously. There has to be some sort of accountability for his lack of success.
-
If we end up taking a dud from St Mirren that has to be the end of Daws.
-
As I said he's struggling to get a move to a club at the level of Norwich now. Moving to Celtic was a disaster. The type of football they play in the league with 80% possesion in a lot of games has taken him backwards. Nothing he's done in the past couple of years suggests he'd do well on the Continent or even a top end Championship team. On the other hand I could see him moving up from Cardiff when he gets to grips with more competitive football and playing regularly.
-
Because if he thought they were going to compete for Europe rather than slide into the bottom 6 he would keep it under wraps rather than announce it early.
-
If Robinson announces a pre contract for Spittal it tells you he's looking down the table not up it. The wheels are coming off St Mirren right on schedule.
-
There's not a single poster on the thread saying we'll win. You're the Claret and Amber Jolly Boy John and even you've not backed us to get three points. All the focus seems to be on the County game as the big one. This game should be win or P45 time.
-
Aye forgot about that, the miserable second half felt like a defeat. 1 win in all that time is still shite.
-
It's quite telling that we finished above Kilmarnock last season and beat them at home the last time we played but Kettlewell has lowered expectations so much that most people see this as a game we are unlikely to win. A few months ago we had to ignore results against the Old Firm, then it was ignore the results against Aberdeen and Hearts. Now it doesn't matter if we get beat off Kilmarnock at home apparently. Kilmarnock was our last home win on the 26th of August 2023.
-
A striker and a centre back is the bare minimum we needed this window. If we don't get that then the club has went seriously off the rails.
-
Seeing the goal on Sportscene I don't think Considine was interfering. Correct decision.
-
I'm talking about Kettlewell in the Premiership including his time at Ross County. It didn't work out for Courts in Hungary but he's still got more achievements to his name as a manager than Kettlewell. He might just be average but Kettlewell is shite. Livingston can't sack Martindale so we won't finish bottom this season but we shouldn't accept what are suffering through right now. We are getting close to 1 league win in 5 full months of football.
-
In this league Courts has a better ppg than Kettlewell and has achieved a European qualification. To me that's a better record.
-
He's already had multiple get out of jail cards. 2 shots on target today. None at all in the second half. We are not improving and if we don't beat Kilmarnock that should be it.
-
I was told he got a poor offer compared to others in the squad.
-
He wanted a decent contract.
-
The players weren't playing for Hammell but they were good players. Even under Hammell the margins were slim. Most weeks Kettlewell had 8 or 9 outfield players of a good standard which will get you to midtable in this league. Kettlewell chose to prioritise Paton over Cornelius and commit funds to Obika before the window even opened. He's the one who will pay the price because it's either win or get sacked now and we don't have a win in us.
-
Kettlewell had an extremely favourable run of games last season with 14 games where 9 of them were against bottom 6 teams.
-
Due to the players he inherited. With his own team it's 0.95 points per game and his overall record for us and RC is 1.06 ppg over almost 100 games.
-
Looking at their goal my guess is that the shitey VAR system wasn't able to draw lines because you can't actually see Spittal's feet through the crowd of players so they just let it stand. So glad we voted for this and spend a fortune on it.
-
I like it when we win games which is why I'm fed up with the current chancer manager. It's the people who seem happy enough to watching losing football every week as long they get their calender signed and a few wee videos to watch on their phone every week that are the problem.
-
Courts has a better ppg in the Premiership than Kettlewell. The guy is fucking hopeless. 1 win in 18 in this league, the only team he can get a win off are Livi who barely qualify as a football club.
