You are absolutely right. The way a team plays is directly associated to the strip design. Never mind tactics, man management, training or player development. We should dispense with the services of Mark McGhee and Scott Leitch and bring in Gok Wan immediately. Whilst we are at it, that tie you are wearing at work just now is clearly holding you back. Don't be so silly!!!! Lets wait and see what designs are presented and make up our minds then.
  2. The game is about more than revenue . Some people have been fooled into thinking that success can be measured on the merits of acheiving a top six place and a few extra grand. Success comes from trophies. Nothing else. One of the biggest barriers to football development is the fact that we only allow passage between the top two divisions for one team per year. This stifles development at a lower level and has caused many good clubs to struggle to survive. The protectionist mentality of the SPL is a disgrace. I think we may be the only league in Europe with a 1 up 1 down system. Being bottom in November and in a European place by March has nothing to do with the split. I would still call a match against Aberdeen for a place in the top six meaningless but if that's what floats yer boat. I'm a traditionalist old fart so I'm probably wrong
  3. Alternatively Mr Gold could admit the split is a shambles and do away with it. Only in Scottish Football could we come up with a system that causes chaos and brings no benefit. 18 team league, 3 down 2 up. 1 playof place between 3rd-6th in the first div. Same as England and it works. Sorted Take the year off Henry McLeish!!!

Every time any club changes kit this whole debate comes about. Most clubs change every year now (even with the same supplier and sponsor). Kids will put pressure on parents to buy the new kit but they will also be pressuring them to get the new Nintendo games when they come out along with a whole host of things. My boys want something new every day but they don't get everything they want as I can't afford it. It's not easy but they have to be told. Having said that, I hope Motherwell can keep the home shirt for the next two years but in this day and age its not always that straightforward. I think Rangers and Celtic change every year now. As do Aberdeen and Hearts I think. Dundee Utd seem to be two years. St.Mirren change every year. Its not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. Much better to be hearing some positive news today as I don't think I could talk about the pitch for one second longer!!!!! My work mates have been having a field day with that one. If I hear one more joke about grass!!!!
  6. Shouldn't be singing anyones praises unless they are in a Well shirt!!!!

I think its fantastic news. Great to see the club able to attract a really big name. In all honesty we should always expect a change of kit supplier to be a possibility. At least we have been told early and the Bukta stuff has been half priced. I bought my shirt before Christmas but I'll be happy to buy a Canterbury one as their rugby stuff is awesome.
