I take it Saunders and Hammell are both ok to play? If so I would have Saunders and Reynolds at centre half with Hammell back in at left back.
Gutted I'm missing this. Think it will go to extra time and if it does I'd fancy us to win it there.

Went for Jutkiewicz. We were all shite in the first half but he held the ball up quite well and took 2 goals. The second of which took him about 3 swipes before he got it in. Fuck it though - 2 goals

I can see us losing one of them for sure, most likely Saturday. We haven't got the best record against St Mirren.
I'd be happy with a loss on Saturday and a win on Tuesday even though I can only make the Saturday game.

Crackin news. I doubt we could get him on a long term deal but anything beyond January is a bonus.

Don't get me wrong I like Gannon as much as the next person but does anyone else have a sense of deja vu? I seem to remember a lot of people stating how McGhee was a breath of fresh air, talked very well about football, very articulate in the press. Just an observation like.

Failing to get European Football despite being favourites two seasons on the trot.... with only a hand full of games to go is nothing but failure.
Stop taling pish. Who got them into the position of being favourites? United were pish in the few years before Levein arrived. The last 2 seasons they finished comfortably in the top 6 and were in the race for 3rd up until the last few games. If anything United are bottlers but Levein is far from failing at United.

I'd bring Craggs back in as I think we miss his experience and organisation. I'd drop Yassin til he learns how to actually get back and defend and stops leaving us horrendously exposed (I still find it hilarious that he won the Hibs MoM poll on here!) and Hateley looked alright at right back when he first arrived. That would allow Coke to step into the middle of the park as he's been terrible on the right, with Murphy coming in. I'd also give McHugh a chance ahead of Jutkiewicz because the big Pole just isn't cutting it just now.

I canne believe Moutouakil got MOM for the Hibs game either. I've liked the look of Saunders though and I think we would be weaker without him at set pieces. He seems to win a lot in the air.
Apart from that I quite like the look of Jays team. I don't think Gannon will drop Yass therefore Hately will continue to play in front of the defence. I do think he will try something different up top though.

Van Der Gaag is a good boy. I was only about 9 but I still remember vividly that goal he scored against Dunfermline that saved us from the playoff spot

I canne be arsed reading all this thread.
We just wereny at the races today. Thought Coke had a bad game and this affected us badly. The defenders got caught out with slack passing as Coke wasn't as available as he usually is.

With Gannon I wouldn't be surprised if the centre halfs were Hutchinson and Saunders but nobody deserves to be dropped from the back 4 against Rangers.
I would also keep Forbes in and Sutton should definetley start against Utd.
Same line up from the Rangers game but I would be tempted to see McHugh in for Murphy.

Well looking forward to this. I have no idea what the team will be but running through it in my head I find that there are more players I'd like to see starting than there are positions. Can't see us winning but I think we could hold them to a 1-1 with Forbes or Murphy getting the goal.

I think he can go far.
With his pace and ability to read the game I think he is capable of carving out an International career. I'm interested to see how he progresses as a left back!
Exactly! Like Dee I can't see him getting a bigger club than decent championship team playing as a centre half but if he shows promise in some of the other roles he's been playing recently he has the potential to go on to better things. I just can't imagine him playing at centre half for a big club.

A guy I know who is on placement with South Lanarkshire Council (said he was doing some work on it) told me about this last Wednesday. He's no a Motherwell fan so I thought he was winding me up. He told me it was to celebrate Matt Busby's 100 birthday. He also said that it was on international weekend.
