The strips were unveiled on 1st July last year but the home strip didn't go on sale till 15th July with away following a week later. I will do a bit of digging and see when other seasons were unveiled.

Gadgey, I understand your sentiment but this is a message board. If all we can discuss is pure proven fact, then this message board that we all contribute to, would be pretty quiet and boring. But for the record, it is fact that we are quite consistently one of the last teams to release our strip, missing potential sales during a time of very low cash flow. It is also fact that we are very late in agreeing sponsorship for the year ahead.

I have perfectly sound mentality and am not young, but I am entitled as you to air my opinion. The fact is that almost every year we are the last to release our strip. That is a fact. Poor management that misses out on early sales for the summer holidays.

Even in his first tenure McGhee struggled to get players in. Seems to favour quality over quantity, which can be a hard balance to get right. I'm sure there will be some movement this week.

So tell me.....why do other provincial clubs have a sponsor sorted for next year? They knew months ago that they wanted to change sponsor, so why deep into June is it not sorted. Unorganised, unprepared, last minute i.e. Typical Motherwell.

Aye, but are there any other teams in the league in this situation, or is it just Motherwell? If I was a betting man, I'd bet that it is just us.

Why in gods name are we nearly at the end of June and we don't have a shirt sponsor? Jesus wept. No sponsor, no players........piss up/brewery.

The one on the right is Padraig Amond who we were linked to under the Baraclough era. Scored a lot of goals at Grimsby.

A player at the Sponsors Evening confirmed that Wes was away at the end of the season. The club had the option of another year, but won't be taking it up.

Wes Fletcher is definitely away at end of the season.

Not just Scotland.........there really aren't that many maverick footballers around theses days. Pace and power with a smidgen of skill are valued above all else.

If he had a bit more pace and a better engine, he could have, but nature only gifted him a wand of a left foot!

Went for Kennedy, but if the ref had been any good, he'd have given away two penalties, so hardly a man of the match performance, but we are so bad at the moment, he stands out as the only one with any real desire. The team is chronically bad at the moment.
