because they are a corporate giant playing at 'caring' about local communities, when in actual fact they are nothing more than a money making machine who dont really give a jot about communities , and have in fact been shown to be ignorant of the feelings of a large section of a countries population

add to the fact that its a total joke to have a chocolate bar brand marketed in a way to be associated with a 'healthy lifestyle choice'

but hey just saying like, free footie  take it while its going

PS the community staff continue to do an excellent job, they need to take the funding from wherever it comes, fair play

PPS pet hate, corporate giants peddling unhealthy choices as associated with a healthy choice

are or were McDonalds not one of the country's biggest financial backers of kids football over the last few years ??

I dont think you can call it a joke for being associated with a healthy lifestyle......even proffesional athletes and sportsmen eat MARS bars now and again.

anyway...lets look at fooball league / cup sponsors...Tennents, Bells, IRN-BRU , Carling ....none of them healthy if abused ........

are you also unhappy at their association with healthy lifestyles ??

:whistling:

*edit* not a dig at you personally.....just that argument that certain Brands shouldnt be associated with sports

Can't believe so many people are moaning because we are being offered free 5 a sides. Who cares who picks up the bill. This country has been crying out for this type of thing.

Totally.

"Here, have a free game of football."

"Whit? Fucksake, not from you, you dick."

When you pose a question you clearly have the answer to yourself and have a reputation for getting flustered over small petty things..........then.

Every Mars bar in every shop down here has the 3 Lions on it.

They put millions into English football every year and we get a free 5 a side game.

It's been 6 years since I last had a Mars bar, and it'll be a whole lot longer before I have another one.
