Usual suspects ran themselves into the ground but McManus managed a potent attack very well and got us off to a flier in the 2nd half with a fine header.

lasley was immense and he should be a contender for scottish poty but i voted for hutchy, incredible performance.

 

Carswell, who looked like he was carrying a hip or groin injury, sutton, hammell and mcmanus left everything on the park as well.

There was a lot of good battling performances today, however, for his goal and his last minute tackle in the final moments of the game I have chosen

McManus.

Thought Hutchy was superb today, was a bit worried when he got booked early but he coped very well.

 

However I have to give the award to Keith Lasley. Magnificent player, you'd think he was a teenager today the amount of running he did.

Going for McManus, won everything that came near him & put his body on the line to make a few vital blocks. Scored at the right end as well!

Not today, but there was one delightful moment in the first half captured perfectly on Alba when he beat about four Aberdeen players by the power of shimmy alone. Great to see him doing that sort of stuff again.

He was one of the better players in the first half but he faded out of things in the second.

He was caught offside a fair few times which looked as if it made his head go down!

 

Having said that he's played a lot worse!

Another game where a lot of players did well but nobody for me stood head and shoulders above the rest to become an obvious MoTM. However Lasley and Sutton probably were a nod ahead of most of the rest and on balance I'll go for Lasley but tough one.

Lasley. Considering he was on a yellow for about 75 minutes he still managed to get stuck right in without picking up a second yellow.

The skipper for me, just beats John Sutton. Lionel should take note of the running they put in.
