Big Brian Mclean for me thought he was very strong. J O'B was tremendous first half and it was more like Hughes that the empty jersey we have seen for most of the season but I thot Stretch had a great game.

I thought our best tow today were Brian McLean and Stephen Hughes. Its great to see big Brian back again and he seems to have picked-up where he left off last season but Stephen just shaded it for me and I thought that was one of the best games he's played for us since coming to the club.

McLean was great but for me as well, it's Hughes. Absolutely running the show these days and the first name on the teamsheet in my book. His workrate is oustanding and he's got a great attitude towards the team, pulling players out of trouble and leading by example. If he stays long term, possibly a shout for captain in the future. For now though, getting him to sign again must be top priority. Okay, love-in over

Not a bad performer throughout, but, Hughes again for me this week - at the heart of everything we did well. United had their 15 minute spell when we couldn't get him on the ball.

I thought Stephen Hughes had his best game in a long while but thought McLean deserved it. He may have been tired, but I was absolutely mystified when he was taken off when United were looking for an aerial bombardment.

Went for McClean just ahead of Hughes. Quite possibly the best I've seen Hughes play today, but McClean was just superb. Have to agree that Quinn played well in a different position and Buzz certainly kept us in the game with a couple of fantastic saves.

Went for McLean. Thought the big man was brilliant and it looks like he could be a regular choice at right back with Quinn at right mid. Well in big man!

I went for Quinn actually, did really well out of position. Don't get why Hughes is leading by so much, I thought his performance was average at best.

100% from Shug yesterday, never gave Utd a minutes peace. You can put up with the odd mistake from players when they put in effort like this.

Went for McLean just over Hughes. Thought he looked superb yesterday. If this is him not completely match fit it's frightening (in a good way) to think how good he will be when he's used to playing in matches with those players round him.
