Call it SPL Championship Battle and SPL Survival Battle. Two separate competitions. Which is effectively what it is... No it's not 4 teams in the 'SPL Championship battle' competition have no chance of winning the league. We weren't exactly involved in the 'SPL survival battle' either despite being in the bottom 6. I don't have a problem with the Split. Don't think it serves any real purpose either apart from excitement for the mid table teams around 5th 6th 7th and 8th as to who's going to host the big crowd matches, and who's going to be stuck with the dross.
