Sad news to hear about the loss of another 'Well Legend

but mostly its a very sad loss for his loved ones, Deepest condolences go out to them.

A fine servant to the club from what I read and heard about him

and will be rightly remembered in the history books as well.

"Willie forged a reputation as a reliable, speedy and cultured full-back who skills from a dead ball were noted at the time."

"Kilmarnock was called upon to clear three Dundee efforts from his own goal line."

"he sent a 40-yard strike rocketing into the net and the other, similar in style, against East Fife at Hampden Park in the Semi-Final of the 1955-56 League Cup."

What we wouldn't give for a payer of that calibre in the modern game , clearly a fantasticaly talented footballer.

Condolences to Family and Friends let your love and pride for him help ease the pain of his parting.

R.I.P.

It's been said before but I'll say it again, the word "legend" is banded about all to easily these days and has been grossly devalued because of it.

Willie Kilmarnock is a Motherwell legend in it's truest sense.

Thanks for everything, Rest In Peace.
