I reckon we'll hopefully make it to about the 3rd qualifying round at least, what with us being seeded. Obviously this will depend on who we draw. If I am right, 270,000 euros plus gate receipts could work out for a relatively decent money spinner for us!

I don't think you add the prize money together per round, if we go out in 3rd prelim round then we'll still only receive 90000 euros. Maybe I'm wrong

I don't know for sure, but i think it is -

he remaining balance of € 60 million will be distributed according to the proportional value of each TV market, i.e. € 150,36 milion will be distributed from the group stage onwards.

The value of that prize fund would suggest that it is.

Maybe, but I wouldn't have thought so. If it was then surely:

Group stage: 1.000.000 €

1st knock out round: 200.000 €

Doesn't make sense as obviously the 200,000 for getting to the knock out stages would be on top of the 1,000,000 for getting to the group stages.

I would imagine that they'd show the early rounds in the same fashion, ie. the the prize money for getting to each stage individually.

EDIT: I'm not sure what i've written makes sense, but I knew what I meant!

It adds up each round.

90K for playing in Round 1 Quals

An Extra 90K for Round 2 Quals

An Extra 90K for Round 3 Quals

200K for Playoff Round

So if we make it to the Playoff Round we have taken 470K...

Is that £90k if you win?

Some amount of dough being fired out to a plethora of diddy teams.

Look at the Champions League pot.....

UEFA Champions League 2009/2010:

1st qualifying round: 130.000 € *

2nd qualifying round: 130.000 € *

3rd qualifying round: 130.000 € *

Playoffs: 2.100.000 € *

Group stage: 7.100.000 €

Group match victory: 800.000 €

Group match draw: 400.000 €

1st knock out round: 3.000.000 €

Quarter-finals: 3.300.000 €

Semi-finals: 4.200.000 €

Final: 5.500.000 €

Winning the final: 3.500.000 €

* = These payments were only awarded to the clubs which quould not qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage!

The remaining balance of € 341 million will be distributed according to the proportional value of each TV market, i.e. € 750,7 milion will be distributed from the group stage onwards (five times more than in the UEFA Europa League).
