Andy Harrow Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 Not much of a game last night in a footballing sense, Steaua sat back protecting their lead at the start and opened out in the second half to win comfortably 2-1. Their keeper was flapping a bit in the first 20 minutes, but then did pull off a few good saves. All in all they look a pretty decent team. Its not impossible to beat them, but we would have to be on top of our game to do so. Then again after last nights 8-1, you never know. Certainly that result is making some big news in the Romanian press. So pics below from the game, the players had to be taken from the field just after half time for 20 minutes while the fans tried to set fire to each other. What happened with the buses, was there an accident with the police? Looking forward to next week now, couldn't believe our result, 8-1 brilliant. The flairs and banners are par for the course out here and last nights game did have a bit of added spice with it being Hungary/Romania.
