andybug Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 What would happen to the European spot for the Scottish cup if the two teams in the final have already qualified for Europe with there league position? ie Rangers, Celtic , Dundee Utd or HIbs are in the final and finish in top 4? dennyc Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 If the team finishing 3rd or 4th in the league qualifies for the Europa League via the cup, then the 5th position in the league also qualifies. Same applies if the two cup finalists qualify for the Champions League. A case for hoping for a Rangers Celtic final I guess.
