sydney devine
To celebrate the 70th birthday today of Craig Brown, the BBC is rolling out the red carpet and inviting him as a special guest on Off The Ball on Radio Scotland this Saturday between 1pm and 3pm. All birthday messages and, more importantly, questions about the forthcoming season greatly appreciated and the best ones will be put to CB live on air. Welldaft Mk1
On a serious note: - What is the update re Ruddy + Lukas ever coming back - What are his realistic expectations for the season, both in the SPL and Europe? - If he had £100m to spend - who would he buy (Messi not allowed)? - How many extra players is he looking to bring in and in what positions? - Will he get to see any extra money generated by an extended Europa cup run? - Will he retire at the end of the season..or keep going until MFC are looking for a change? - Is he optimistic the pitch is in good enought nick not to cause us as many problems this year? - What chances are there that Michael Fraser will move to South Africa - What does he think of the new Puma strips - Have we got an effin Sponsor or NO? Non Well related: - Why were England so p1ss poor at the world cup - What did he think of the coalition emergency budget. Has it been kind on pensioners

carlukemurray
I had the pleasure of meeting Craig in April. He is a fantastic guy and his knowledge and passion for football is incredible, Motherwell are lucky to have him as a manager. I would ask him; 1. Would he incorporate a winter break to the SPL? 2. How many teams should be in the SPL? And how many divisions should there be in Scottish football? 3. Which Motherwell youngsters does he see breaking into the team this season, or going on to bigger and better things? 4. To spice it up, or for a funny story, ask him about the Mo Johnston Swiss bank account story! It is a cracker. All the best

Finlay
Aye right............................ Only question I heard Tam ask Paw Broon was if the pitch was in good nick. Briefly mentioned Reynolds and Europe although I was expecting a bit more about us as well to be honest. France 1998 was the main topic of discussion as (obviously) the recent shows have been World Cup based.
sydney devine
Main point he made was that there has apparently been two "solid" bids for Reynolds. Also, when asked to describe the pitch in one word he said: "Excellent." Had to bin all questions about his age as, after congratulating him on his 70th just before the show started, it became crystal clear he didn't want us to labour the point during the programme. Fair enough. Syd
Finlay
I'll say one thing CB seems to know everybody in football and appears to have an amusing story/tale to tell on everybody. He deserves a show of his own
