Re Stam , talent without hard work is no use in a Motherwell team...I dont think he is a particularly good player either so yep, I would ship him first chance
-
Actually ive ended up agreeing with you re " the bois" and the never ending fines but I won't make a habit of it
-
Some mental gymnastics that.
-
On second thoughts was it Kim Wilde?
-
There’s a few posting on this thread won’t be convinced otherwise…
-
That is undoubtedly true but unfortunately it mirrors life in general, where the minority ruin it for the majority and as the saying goes “if you fly with the crows you get shot with the crows”. There are plenty of decent, well meaning people within the ‘Bois’ but sadly there are also some thoroughly nasty and dangerous individuals who clearly have a lot of influence within the group. And they are best avoided for the average match going supporter who simply wants to support the club.
-
If the " bois" are such a small number then not many will be getting offended by being misrepresented. It's all a bit pointless who is in the bois and who isn't...if you're damaging other people's stuff, dont...that includes mfc' s property and applies if you're 16 or 61.
-
I don't know but you may have a point. Do we know for sure that it was only the Bois who were involved in these events? 74k euros seems a heck of a lot for repairs does it not?
-
The information is there, don’t even have to scrape the surface for it… I’m not a member of any part of the associated groups of that end section.
-
The ‘Bois’ are about two dozen in number… Expand your mind, your brain may follow.
-
I thought it was widely accepted that the pitch invasion at Helsinki wasnt the Bois?
-
Eh? Absolutely not and not the point I was making… An upturn in self policing is never more required. They don’t? It’s their own funeral.
-
Make that 2 posters who look for a reaction
-
If you have more information, you could always explain and put the usual suspects right?
-
The ‘Bois’ care about the ‘Bois’ and their reputation and getting attention on social media and wider publicity. The actual reputation and potential damage their behaviour causes to the club itself is clearly way down their list of priorities in comparison. Otherwise why do they keep defying the clubs requests? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. They are Green Brigade wannabes.
-
Where do we draw the line then?Just keep paying fine after fine? Just keep letting same faces get away with same actions they have been told not to do time and time again?
-
Granted. But football is and always has been a sport where spectators criticise and ‘offer advice’ to professional players when they are nowhere near at the same level of those players whom they are telling how to do their job better. Social media has obviously given those type of people (me included, I admit) a much wider platform to air such ‘advice’.
-
Ridiculous closing statement. There are plenty in our support who would put that idea to bed and they know it.
-
If someone wants to pay 7 million you take it ASAP. He has 2 goals in 17 games and just isn't the same player at the moment
-
Misleading headline only serves to get the usual suspects excited. The action was wrong and there is no excusing that - to label one group of fans again, the lack of understanding of the make up of that section is bizarre. The fine for standing in the aisles wasn’t Block E either. surprised the statement was released given the club have disputed the value claimed.
-
All the money we are making in transfers and European run being frittered away with these fines. Enough is enough and its time club starts identifying those involved and ban them. I give bois plenty praise for tifos and vocal support but there is an element that just don't know how to behave. However.........not all the bois can be blamed as there is a big chunk of them that are great lads and also not all fans encroaching pitch and stairways can be attributed to that section. It needs everyone to sit down and discuss how we resolve this. A wake up call to everyone going to freiburg. COYW and keep the heid
-
This is when the Well Society needs to step up and have a word cause its pretty embarrassing the longer it goes on fine after fine should have been nipped in the bud by now anyway. Yep its at the stage where next incident then its a ban they are not bigger than the club and looks to me they are starting to think they are.

Im generally a supporter of the Bois as I do like the colour and noise they bring to the stadium, and I was young once myself! But, there does come a point where they need to wise up and take some responsibility for their actions, or at least reign in their behaviour. Id prefer if it was self policing, rather than enforced, but its costing the club serious money now, and although they have payed off some of their own fines in the past, there is no way they can afford to pay these! Its not just the €100k to UEFA here though, the club have agreed to cover the €74k for the digital advertising hoarding that was damaged in Helsinki. We all love our team, and we can all lose the run of ourselves at times, but you can still make a decision not to go over the wall or to take pyro into the ground. I hope these conversations are taking place within the various groups involved, as Id hate it to get to the stage where people are being banned from the stadium.
-
€100 k is a serious amout of cash for a club of our size, thats potentially a players wage, maybe two players for the season. I agree something needs to be done support the club but do it within the stadium guidelines etc, no blocking the stairs, setting off pyros or going on to the park. And as you say if those responsible dont comply then ban them from the stadium untill they do. The singing, the banners etc are all brilliant just drop the other nonsense.
