  1. Past hour
  2. 👍 yes it’s the range and dispersion of points which is much narrower this year which makes it al lthe more interesting. Away from the data analytics and towards the🧡, i find it somewhat ironic that while 🎶 “we hate Hearts and we hate Dundee” 🎶 I’ll be willing them both in to get a result today 😀
  3. Shocking. I feel really sorry for him, but apparently if Celtic don`t respond by tomorrow, we go elsewhere.
  4. Just watched highlights. How can anyone say the first one wasn’t a yellow? Studs straight into Slatts shin could have been very nasty indeed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Still no Welsh in the Celtic squad.
  6. For anyone with a statistical leaning: Over the last 10 completed seasons, the maximum number of points achieved by the team that finished 4th was 67 (twice, 17-18 & 18-19); the minimum was 48 (21-22), and the average is 57.2. I hope you will all sleep better now. Given that Hibs and Falkirk are 5 & 7 pts behind respectively, I reckon 60 will be needed (but that is just a guess).
  7. BBC have and already out of date (doesn’t include yesterday’s results) analysis of who may win the league which shows us as 5th based on expected goals. Basically that methodology has Celtic and Hibs underperforming and Hearts, Rangers, and us over performing in that order. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0erdjp0plpo So many other factors to take into account of course but I’d say a win here and the others sharing/dropping points will put us in a strong position to potentially finish 3rd, not just consolidate 4th
  8. Our transfer Windows are usually more miss than hit but our summer 2025 transfer window must be by far and away our best one ever. Considering that also included our new manager coming in who has been nothing short of exceptional and Wimmer's one and only signing also being superb it's hard to think how it can be beaten. To think we also managed to make our biggest ever sale and replace with a few players now worth over a £million in the squad it genuinely beggars belief how good that window has turned out to be. It should turn out to be genuinely transformational for our club and stand us in good stead for years to come. The board also deserve massive credit for this. Must be in contention for not just our but possibly even the league's best transfer window by a club?
  9. Happy Australia Day to the Aussie players in our squad 🇦🇺
  10. Today
  11. Weve taken 40 points from a possible 69 after 23 games thats a bawhair under 58%. If we keep the same percentage or better for the remaining 15 games then we will end up with at least 66 points. I would suggest a 66 point total would be enough for 4th or maybe 3rd and would see us earn another European adventure.
  12. I could be totally wrong here and apologise if I have got it wrong but I take it you are not a fan of Stama? 🤣🤣
  13. Aye that would be Apollo 13, "Jens we have a problem" Stamatelopoulos is brutal and ineffective.
  14. We had a God like forward line in the second half. Thor and Apollo 😀
  15. think based on previous seasons the team that finish 4th tend to end up anywhere from 50-55 points. We'll need probably 4 more wins in this round and a few draws as well as 1 or 2 wins post split.
  16. What is your arithmetic for us securing 4th?
  17. Same thoughts it as tighter than appeared as inevitably Polworth was moving towards goal and away from defensively line very similar situation in Falkirk game but goal was awarded Without trying to raise people blood pressure re VAR 😞 the BbC broadcast different views of Killies and Falkirks checks. The Falkirk goal looked well offside on Sportscene and I didn’t see any lines being used (or not on highlights at least). Could the length of time taken be different because of VAR placement? Im not sure how it works but will definitely take it yesterday 😁
  18. With 5 games in 14 days on the way I'd expect some rotation against Livingston. Team for me would be Ward Sparrow Mcghee Mcginn Longelo Fadinger Preistman Maswanhise Just Said Stama Rest Slattery and SOD and get some more minutes into Bjorgolfsson before the busy period.
  19. I thought the first yellow card for Lowery was correct and Walsh got it spot on. Unintentional as it may have been Lowery went over the ball and caught our player on the shin. Happy to see a yellow given for tackles like that. The second yellow was just stupidity from the Killie player although some referees would have bottled taking action. The offside I thought was clear enough although not as blatant as I thought at the game. Not quite in line but everyone around me on the POD could not understand why the VAR decision took so long. I thought tv highlights showed Polwarth was clearly offside. Tight maybe but not in doubt. All three talking points I thought resulted in the correct outcome although they did give McCann something to deflect from how ineffective his tactics and players were after the first 20 minutes. He appears to have adopted the Kettlewell teflon approach.
  20. This will be another tough game on a poor pitch but mind you we played on a poor pitch yesterday (what on earth has happened to our bowling green!). I think we could take 2500-3000 to this game which would be amazing. COYW
  21. Its quite fun now when the opposition go down to 10 men. Before we'd not make the most of it and struggle, but now its pretty much game over for them. We just pop them off the park. 73% possession yesterday.
