  1. Past hour
  2. threadbear team, playing a team that can’t score or win a game, live on tv. What could possibly go wrong?
  3. The good news is that there's no longer 8 players out injured. The bad news is that it's now 10. We do seem to be good for for one injury surprise per week. Hope that Eli's not out long term.
  4. If we win up there with that team then we’re winning the League Cup this year. There, I’ve said it. **Spoiler alert..we won’t win up there today
  5. I thought Just was a doubt, he was clearly injured leaving the park last week. Really disappointing and it makes a tough task up there even tougher. Not as confident with that side. I thought Johnny was at fault with that goal last week too and JBA took him off sharpish after it, I think that’s why ODonnell is there. oh well, let’s hope for the best.
  6. Just being out is a big blow (particularly with Slattery already out), although we played very well in the 1st half last Sat without him, so let’s hope we see more of that just with more end product. Crazy amount of injuries again this seasons.
  7. Yeah, Said has it in his locker, just needs fitness and sharpness. Hopefully finds it today
  8. I liked him and will be forever grateful for that season but under no circumstances would I want to see him be successful anywhere else.
  9. Just is a big loss, but at least we still have Fadinger and Watt in there. Said is improving too, In previous seasons when Miller and Slattery were out we had nothing left in our midfield.
  10. Subs: Oxborough Balmer Halliday Osong Priestman Koutroumbis Ross McAllister McColm
  11. Ward O'Donnell Gordon Welsh Longelo Charles-Cook Watt Fadinger Said Maswanhise Stamatalopoulos

  13. This is why it's a good thing fans don't actually manage professional footballers.
  14. Mmmm. Not feeling so confident now. Just is a miss. Surprised Koutroumbis on bench. But JBA does like SOD. Hopefully Said and RCC are fitter, sharper than last week.
  15. Very true , quite happy to focus on the present and hopefully a win today and another trip to Hampden As great as 1991 was/is I am desperate to see another cup win in either of the cups Something most under the age of 40 have no real memory of apart from watching videos of it and hearing stories
  16. Yes maybe buts it's results that are remembered
  17. What a lot of managerial bollocks. Just put him on the park and let him play.
  18. I don't dislike the man either, but for most of his time in charge, the football was brutal to watch. As you might have guessed from some of my posts, I also got fed up with his "have to earn the right to play football" spiel as an excuse for hoofball. I said at the time that good teams play their game from the kickoff, and JBA has proved that already this season. No doubt, as the years pass, he will get better and better, but I imagine if you go back to some of the match threads from those seasons, there will more complaints than praise
  19. Lennon Miller state of play as Scotland ace awaits debut Udinese boss Kosta Runjaic has promised Scotland starlet Lennon Miller he will soon be in his plans once he gets up to speed. The former Motherwell midfielder has yet to kick a ball for his new club following his £6 million move to Serie A in the summer. The only football he's played this season has been for Scotland as a last-minute sub in the 2-0 World Cup win in Hungary against Belarus. Miller, 19, hasn't played a domestic game since May, but Runjaic has revealed he will soon introduce Miller into his line-up He explained: "We certainly don't need to teach Lennon Miller how to play football. He knows how to play all right. "But he needs to go through this integration period, given that he hasn't played much in the last month. "He's very diligent and is making excellent progress. "I'm very happy he's here."
