I would too. But if he was appointed I'd give him my support like Id give anyone offered the job
-
Absolutely none. It's just a general discussion about Scott Brown. I'd be surprised if he was being seriously considered.
-
I'd worry about the time it is taking once we're past this week, as that would put us on a longer timeline than when we got Wimmer, which also had the work permit time built in. The difficulty this time around is that nothing else is happening because it's the close season, and we announced a couple of signings already, so we're just all bored and waiting for info. The other wrinkle is that we have a good chunk of the squad decided, and yet to realize any funds from a Miller sale, so there's no rush on that front. We also have pre season all sorted and organized, so not much to panic about.
-
Its time to take him off now he has done his bit.
-
I get that - but when folk say I think we are talking to this person - there's nothing to substantiate it Of course it's a general discussion. My point was there's nothing to suggest we are talking to Brown - did anyone think we were talking to Wimmer?
-
Hope a lot of scouts watching him as has looked very good tonight, I know it's only Liechtenstein but he has been very productive. Let the bidding war begin
-
Well quite. According to someone on Facebook who knows a "source" it's taking so long because we have had so many applications from overseas
-
There is no evidence we are talking to anyone. And credit to the Club for keeping matters under wraps. So this is just a general discussion about possibilities with various names thrown in.
-
It's all speculation, nothing of substance has surfaced from the club or any potential applicants.
-
Where's the evidence we are having talks with Scott Brown? Did he not rule himself out last time?
-
Aye, I'd be a bit underwhelmed by Brown. Ayr got good publicty in the media and started the season off well, but they were backed with a bit of dosh. He benefitted in the media from the Celtic connection. I saw them against Raith Rovers and they were pretty uninspiring and yes, they were poor in the play offs. Maybe his players didn't perform but it wasn't all down to them. Not quite sure what all the hype is about to be honest.
- Today
-
He is telling players to give him the ball all the time he is on cruise control right now. Just so comfortable looks like its his 50th cap never mind his first start and 2nd appearance.
-
Involved in both goals so far and certainly playing well.
-
And great work for 2nd. He's doing well so far
-
Nice assist from Miller there...
-
Brown never needed any of the dark arts,he just knew he would get away with anything when it came to referees.
-
Watching Scotland play, that's the assignment the club scouts don't want.
-
Happy to see him secure a starting spot. Hopefully the European scouts are watching.
-
Good luck to him. This is thoroughly deserved.
-
He was one of the only bright sparks when he came on the other night, so naturally I assumed that Clarke would still not start him. Good to see he's actually playing players that deserve it over the same old same old. He must be desperate.
-
Excellent!! Come on Lennon. Play a blinder
-
Lennon Miller starting for Scotland in Liechtenstein.
-
Heading off down south because someone asked him to mark Norway? Good luck to the man. Liked his attitude, energy and enthusiasm, but not a fan of his actual defensive abilities.
-
Professional football is supposed to be entertainment. Would be very boring if we didn't have some heroes and villains. Davie Cooper, Michael Higdon, Faddy, Skippy - to name a few - all loved playing up to the crowd.
-
I liked him to be fair, always had a mistake in him right enough
