I believe an important quality for a goalkeeper is the ability to not break your hand multiple times.
-
He obviously hasn't got the quality's that the manager requires first n foremost. That would be playing the ball at his feet. Some goalies find that alien to them.

I presume "Soccer" is behind Aussie Rules, Rugby League and Cricket for attendances?
-
They usually have the top home attendance in Australia, averaging around 15,000. Their new stadium, which they share with a couple of rugby teams, holds about 42,000 - not sure where they’re playing in that video, but it’s not that one. (Auckland who play in the same league have had slightly higher attendances in recent years, but they’re in NZ of course.)
-
I had assumed Sydney would be a fairly big club with a big support and a decent stadium. I guess that isnt the case?
-
Here’s a wee clip of the game
-
Ox is a solid keeper, he's just fallen victim to the new manager/new way of playing curse that can happen to players. Hopefully if he does move on he finds more game time.
-
Club shop was busy before and after game as well

My eldest lad just sent this over: "Just done some number crunching If we beat rangers, Celtic and hearts in our remaining games this year(including the split) they all draw when playing each other we can win the league by matching (can actually drop 3 points total and win on GD) the results of the other teams outwith those 3 Think it’s an incredible long shot But can’t believe it is still feasible" The extension of this is at 17th February, we are still on for a league & cup double...COYW

Stama got 91 mins for Sydney today in 1-1 draw
-
True. We beat Rangers here with 4 games to go, but everyone assumed they'd cruise to the title anyway. That Utd game killed us.
-
Connelly has been given a deal to fill 1 of our homegrown spots on the basis that we qualify for Europe next season. Ox will most likely move on in the summer as he's the 3rd choice GK but on a 1st choice wage.
-
I suppose it depends on whether he thinks Connelly will be better served with more loans to get game time or sitting on the bench as a backup.
-
I'm sure it is.
-
JBA must be impressed with him. Where does that leave the Ox now?
-
We only picked up 1 point from the last three games so you could say we collapsed a bit too. The point was at Raith and we were cruising 3-0 at one point.

I'm old and ADHD, the memory of both games melted together
-
Word on the street was MJC tipped us for a 4-0 win that night hence it going pear shaped. I was at game but cant really remember much
-
Thanks for checking that. I must have been mixing seasons but I knew that Dundee Utd game was important. Was a huge anti climax.
-
I remember being at a dinner and had Paul Lambert sitting beside me. This was maybe about 6/7 yrs ago and he was good company…. As in he spoke more about Motherwell than Dortmund or Celtic (albeit he knew I was a Motherwell fan) but he spoke of the annoyance in the squad at the end of that season as they felt they blew it and we should have won the league as our team was good enough. He also went on about McLeish a bit too, but that’s another story.

Had a look at the London Hearts website, where you can check results and league tables game by game. 1994/95, we were 15 or 16 points adrift from January onwards. The midweek we lost at home to Dundee Utd and Rangers lost to Hibs was 30th April 1994. I knew it was close, but I can't believe how close. If we had won that match, we'd have been 2 points behind Rangers with 2 games left to play - they took 1 point from those games.
