Dont remember him at St Johnstone so no idea if he will be any good or not. If we are using analytics to identify targets this season you have to trust he is the type of player we need. We will find out soon enough.

In his last 3 seasons, he's made 49, 30 and 32 appearances in all competitons, so his knees can't be too bad.

I’m afraid he does have a history of knee injuries. Hopefully he can get some consistent game time with us but with that issue and our ridiculous injury record over the past couple of years it does make you worry. That said, good to see we have strengthened our front line and I wish him well.

Think the team of Steves that we had over a decade ago years ago was the most impressive - Hammell, Saunders, Craigan, Jenkins, Howarth (who?), Jones, Meecham (again, who?) and also including honorary Steve, the 'Goal Machine' Esteban Casagolda.

Could be a good signing but he's been inconsistent across his career in terms of goal scoring, even season on season at the same club. Hopefully this is a decent season for him. Even if he can get 10 goals that'd be twice as many as last season's top scorer.
