Turnbull is a definite no go, I think he’ll be at Cardiff for another 2 years and see out his contract. Crazy money involved down there. as for Rice, even if he does come and does well, he’d need removed any time we played Rangers, I just think it screws up team dynamics when we get a loanee from SPFL teams. Not just for those weeks he’s not allowed to play but a week or so after it when he gets back in the team. If we could sign him permanently great, I’d take him then but is he the type to take a drop in pay To kick start his career? I’m not so sure.

If we're getting offered a player of Turnbulls quality, we're taking it regardless of our system...as said further up though, there is no way we are affording him currently
-
Ian Thomson arrived at Motherwell in 1962 coming straight from Mussleburgh Winsor, he was a powerful forward who went on to play in over 80 games in all competitions for the Steelmen, his goal return was modest in that he found the back of net in 15 occasions, he was released six years later in 1968, it was felt that he was player that should have brought more in his time in Lanarkshire, he joined South African club Hellenic in 1968.
-
The main criticism of Turnbull from people is mobility, which is what he'd need with how we are currently playing.

I said the games were better, not the facilities.
-
No they were not, most football Grounds back then were complete shiteholes, unsafe, no facilities, terraces crumbling around you, streams of pish everywhere, aye the good old days.
-
I tend to use it. Its handy and you get straight out onto the motorway after the game.....
-
Driving up for first time, would youse recommend official parking at the ground (£5?).

I met wee Dougie as well at a friend's wedding in 2010 at Fir Park. May have mentioned in the past but he was serving me all night as he was involved at Fir Park at the time and I thanked him for 1991 👏 He loved it , an absolute gentleman
-
Games were always better with terracing. That's a scientific fact.
-
Was just talking to my brother about Coyne and he said that other strikers have had better seasons but few have been an all round striker like he was
-
Who?
-
And touched in there!!!¡
-
Have to post it now of course
-
The cobra was class TC , loved this guy One of my favourite commentaries is from the cup game in 1994 against Celtic from Jock Brown Motherwell undefeated in 1994 , against Celtic who have still to win a match in the year . Changed days 🤣
-
The Tommy Coyne songs were quality too
-
Ian Thompson. There! Addressed that point
-
He's getting a game for Cardiff, so seems unlikely

We may be running the risk of being seen as or data pointing towards us being a club that developes bigger clubs young players saving them the bother and getting nowt out of it at the end of the loan. Ending up with a lot of young loanees, learning their trade. With us having to change the team every year when they go back , in the long run doesn't really help us much.
-
Totally agree. He was much better than old firm had and also in his prime in my opinion. Vastly under rated player. Think Coop and Russell in Thier prime also.
-
I was always amazed we kept him for so long. He'd be gone in a year if he played that well for us now.
-
Why develop a rival clubs player? Rather we got more proven talent out with spl pool
