He deserves every bit of criticism he may get for being dishonest and disrespectful. If it happens on Saturday, it will not make Motherwell fans look bad but show us standing up for ourselves. And if he thinks that justifies his previous opinions and lies, then so be it. He is a twat.

Greetings folks as I enjoy holiday cocktail, yup despite my views I don't want him getting stick as plays into his hands. Dignity by deacon blue not his favourite song as he certainly didn't leave with any. . Just pump them and spend 90 mins singing JB songs....YAMMAS!
-
I didn't either. I've seen a few folk on Facebook saying he should expect abuse but that's just pointless in my view.
-
Im another one who didnt mind Kettlewell too much whilst he was here. He did work bloody hard and did his best whilst here. The results and performances initially were very good. But his last 6 months were horrendous. His stubbornous to change, his downfall. And the way he left unforgiveable. Letting Saturday be about him though would be a distraction from what is really important, getting our first 3 points of the season. Once thats in the bag he becomes fair game and should get both barrells! Until then, just back the team like we did against the dead club and we will be fine.
-
Ran to The Sun newspaper for an exclusive nothing decent about that me thinks. But folk need to behave themselves on Saturday and embrace the beautiful football we are going to play and pocket three points.
-
Exactly this, until we win 3-0 and give him it tight at full time 🤣 in all fairness, Kettlewell didn’t bother me a great deal when he was manager and I think he worked hard and did his best until the final few weeks and his ridiculous petted lip, so I’ll not be giving him too much stick and Stevie Frail is also his assistant who showed quite a bit of class at the end with us, so he is always welcome back.
-
I'm not going to give him abuse.
-
100% this. We should have Fir Park jumping with positivity about the JBA team and approach. Our fanbase supporting in an uplifting atmosphere that SK could never achieve. That alone will deflate him.
-
Definitely think the fans should treat this as a normal game and forget/ignore SK being their manager. No banners, no songs, no abuse just focus on supporting our team. Let’s just get 3 points cause that’s really what matters. COYW!!!!!
-
Kettlewell spends five minutes explaining why it’s definitely not about him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cvgnyjg2vzdo
-
We can only hope. The ban would be worth it. I'll even pay for the statue.
-
JBA could definitely take him in a fight.
-
In fairness he was hardly going to say “ya I’ve heard that this Stuart guy was a bit of a wank and he said some shit about the fans when he left so we hope we can create more misery for him on Saturday”. But in all seriousness he does come across very well and very professional. Let’s just hope we can get our first league win with him in charge under our belts on Saturday.

Jens was asked about Kettlewell and said that anyone who left Motherwell if they return to the ground should be treated with respect (not just Kettlewell) and the most important thing is the football. He also said he didn't know much about the issues - he comes across as a very nice person
-
Soon as i heard Johnny K is back then that was it for old Kettlebellend easiest three points we shall get all season and if Killie end the game with eleven players on the pitch it shall be a modern day miracle they are not handelling the Just without picking up cards. Slatts,Johnny K and Longelo in a convincing 3-0 win.
-
Yes,Probably best way to sicken him is a good gubbing

Sounds like the players got worked hard on Monday morning! 🤪🤪🤪

I got my info from, amongst other places, The Scotsman online: When does the Scottish transfer window close? When is transfer deadline day? The Scottish Premiership transfer window officially opened on Monday 16 June 2025, though in a change to usual summer windows, an additional transfer window was created between 1 June and 10 June, allowing clubs involved in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup to register players. The Scottish Premiership transfer window will officially close on Monday 1 September, at the earlier time of 7pm. This is slightly earlier than the last few windows and is aligned with many of the top European leagues. Talksport agrees: The Premier League, EFL and Scottish Premiership summer transfer windows will close on Monday, September 1, at 7pm. Maybe we should jsut get everything done by Monday morning to be sure.

Looks like BBC agrees with Record
-
September 1 is the final day clubs can register transfers in Scotland. It's been confirmed to Record Sport that the deadline is the usual time of 11pm up here despite the change down south.
-
Or just be really really nice to him. Even after we win 4 - 1.
-
Re ketts, it won't happen but if the fans treated him with indifference rather than boos, that would annoy him more, he loves to be centre of attention Or make him do a sponsored silence.
