  1. Yesterday
  2. From my perspective I gave five pounds a month to the well society when I had nothing and I upped it as soon as I had money. I don't care about what other people paid back in the day but some people might. Up to them though. Night
  3. I'll delete my post. I wasn't trying to criticise you. Was just an observation. Nothing more than that.
  4. My original point outlines that......
  5. For the avoidance of any doubt. I am a legacy member. But I also still pay a direct debit, so Im not arguing from a selfish perspective. Just trying to see it from both sides and find a middle ground.
  6. Surely there has to be something that aligns people who paid 300 quid for life membership to the people who pay every month.
  7. Certainly not a Tory! Its just simple fairness. Not that hard to understand.
  8. Aye. Must have been crocked on his first game
  9. I understand. I also see Bustas point of view. Maybe people who paid 300 quid back in the day should contribute again, but no one can force it. Apologies that I interpreted your post incorrectly - I'm clearly stupid - but I can live with that I have zero issue with people who paid lump sum back in the day - because it's been my choice to pay into and I can stop my subs at any time. I'm not envious of people who got a better deal than me as it were
  10. Minutes towards the end of the second half in a match at Fir Park. Had a few decent touches but immediately got injured. Never featured again. My recollection anyway.
  11. I was replying to Busta Nut's post above suggesting that some legacy members should be telt that they need to start contributing. Joewarkfanclub's post above pretty well sums up my view. No point in repeating it.
  12. It's not been changed though has it. The folk who paid the lump sum still have voting rights
  13. I joined four years too late clearly - story of my life 🤣 Going to clarify and say I did not have 25k spare at that point in time or this point in time
  14. Aye folk greetin about paying £300 12 years ago. pffffft. Sounds like suhin a Tory would whine about.
  15. Those affected adversely I'd guess. Why? You sign an agreement and the other party changes that afterwards.
  16. Who would be upset? And why? 12 years out of yir money isnae bad.
  17. One game for Motherwell apparently
  18. Ross Callachan (remember him?) signs for Arbroath https://x.com/ArbroathFC/status/1938629311621374211
  19. Ah subtle sarcasm, I missed that. I always look for a 😉 emoji before I can understand it
  20. You cant do that when the rules at the point of parting with your money were that you were a member for life and kept the voting rights that come with that. That would leave the Society open to allegations of misselling. But given that the model has now been changed, a way need to be found to provide fairness to new members so that they arent disadvantaged compared to legacy members. Im sure the new Society board will have looked at the matter extensively. It does beg the question as to how much thought went into the long term financials at the time of set up and why those in charge settled on that model.
  21. so 12 year ago folk would have paid either. £300 (£2.08 per month) £1000 (£6.94 per month) £5000 (£34.72 Per Month) £25000 (£173.61 Per Month) First two tiers should be telt they need to start contributing. I'd give the 5k tier a year more. and the 25k tier is fucking insane. I hope no one did that at the time.
  22. Your subtle sarcasm seems wasted mate, given your post got a confused emoji.
  23. Probably because his injury will be a recurring one.
  24. i really dont get this obsession folk have with players that really didnt do much with us that are so easily replaced. i shall say this i shall remember Seddon for his media shorts than what he served up on the pitch so that itself says it all.
