  1. Past hour
  2. Id never miss the opportunity to see us turn over the Jambos in person. My favourite game of every season.
  3. Have to say Premier Sports is a highly attractive option today. Travelling up from Ayrshire doesnt feel very appealing.
  4. The fact its live on TV will make a lot of folk avoid the conditions.
  5. Very few, if indeed any, of our group will be travelling today.
  6. Correct and with the game being Live on TV neither the Hibs v Celtic games or the Motherwell v Hearts games will be postponed because of wind. Conditions are better rain wise and no worse than yesterday wind wise when a full card went ahead.. The SPFL couldn't give two fucks if fans are inconvenienced or the game ruined by the wind. We've all been going long enough to know that corporate money is the deciding factor 9 times out of 10.
  7. Today
  8. Just been out walking my 2 dogs in Biggar .. they nearly got blown away with the gusts . There is no way I am travelling to watch the game today if it’s on .. Game will be a shambles.. will watch on from my armchair and have a good laugh
  9. Was it at Aberdeen a couple of seasons ago that both Aberdeen and Motherwell requested a cancellation on safety grounds because police advised against all travel? Permission refused by football authorities. Also Dundee where our game was only called off after pictures posted online of roads closed due to floods and fans stranded as a result. Again police advice hours before was not to travel. May have the venues mixed up but there are numerous examples of police advice being ignored. There was also a game at Ibrox only cancelled when a team (St Johnstone?)refused to travel for safety reasons. Again following earlier police warnings. Simply put, the fans and their safety are not a consideration where the Scottish football authorities are concerned.
  10. No chance am I heading over the door today
  11. Certainly less rain that yesterday but wind is far stronger.
  12. Club have just posted the promotion for the game today on the socials. it includes “take care when travelling. Allow extra time for travel disruption.” By the sounds of it they are expecting the game to go ahead.
  13. We’ve all had shite managers at work, so we know how this ends if the rumours are true.
  14. Same as yesterday and the full SPFL card went ahead as did the Championship. It would be strange to cancel todays card for same wind but less rain.
  15. Checked Met Office site. Wind gust to be over 50mph at 2pm. Travel warnings in place.
  16. I’ll not be going today if it’s on, I’d happily watch any game in the p1551n rain, snow, freezing cold but playing games in 60mph wind is a joke. Never watched a good game in those conditions. Dreadful for players/fans. Waste of time
  17. Not good at all but not surprising if true. It would certainly explain the dismal performances and several players looking devoid of interest and direction during games. The sooner this charade ends the better for all concerned, AJ included. No harm to the guy but he is out of his depth and it’s not going to work out.
  18. They went against it yesterday with the St Mirren game
  19. Rumours doing the rounds of significant player discontent behind the scenes. Not a good look, if true.
  20. Wind strength forecast to increase slightly before kick off. Why would the SPFL go against Police advice? They don't normally do that.
  21. The rain is due to stop later this morning, but the gusty wind is expected to continue. I reckon they’ll give it until 11am before making a decision.
