  1. Surely that means he resigns in the morning and blames it all on the fans.
  2. Camera zoomed in on him in the stand , head in his hands looks a seriously haunted figure .
  3. LOL Kettlewell sent off, losing the plot. He knows his times coming.
  4. If you look at the "in detail stats" on the BBC site, a lot of the Livi markers are close to ours. However the ones that win the games were in our favour. I think that's maybe what he's getting at. We were comfortable winners and Ward having an outstanding save will do his confidence no harm. No failures but best for me were McGinn , SOD and Koutroumbis. Fadinger , Watt and Slattery did a good job but the defenders shade it for me, utterly composed and stuck to our play out from the back ethos. I still think Livi are a better footballing side than Dundee , Kilmarnock and St Mirren and apart from against us I'd like to see them get a wee rub of the green. Had a fiver on us at 14/1 to win 3-0, but shat out it and cashed out at £57.
  5. The actual draw tells you more. Talk about a fixed piece of corruption. Seeding should be banned in all sports and 3 layers of seeding that FIFA do is outrageous.
  6. I'm a bit nervous about this game. I've watched a few Livinstone games and they are far from the worst team I've seen. They been very unlucky in a number of games. Although bottom I think they are better than Dundee, Killie and St Mirren. They should have beat Kilmarnock, Rangers and Aberdeen. I just feel their luck has got to change sometime. Hopefully not tomorrow.
  7. Our inability to consistently put the ball in the back of the net ?? We are fourth highest scorers in the league and have only failed to score in 3 of our 15 games and indeed up to Saturday it was 1 failure to score in 13.
  8. I said before last night's game if we took 8/9 points from our next 4 games this could very well be a standout season. Still stand by that. That's 15 games gone an no team has been better than us in any game. As poor as we were last night we were the closest of the two to getting the win.
  9. Really surprised he thought we played really well. We were poor , still worth the point but poor none the less. Last half hour we lost our way but defensively we played very well. McGinn and Welsh were outstanding.
  10. Add Jordan White and James Scott. Wonder if we've ever faced a team with so many former players.
  11. Good results for us today. Celtic were mince we must stand a good chance against them at home. Just need Livi to beat Aberdeen (they've been the better team in this game) put St Mirren bottom.
  12. Yep completely agree. It's been a huge bugbear of mine over the last 10/15 years was our almost stagnant home support hovering around 4000/4500. I used to despair seeing other clubs getting real improvements yet ours went nowhere. So the turnaround this season is really pleasing. The average home attendance right now sits at 8032. It's been a, long long time since we experienced these kind of figures especially when there's only one home OF game included in them. I realise there's an element of bigger away supports in those figues (Falkirk 1700) but we are maintaining around 5500 / 6000 a game and when football ain't cheap it shows if you entertain people they respond. Maybe we are starting to exorcise the memory of the utter dross under Alexander, Hammel and Kettlewell from the memories of the occasional attendees. Our average will take a hit for next two home games and it being a lead up to Christmas. However long may this improvement continue it just makes the match day experience so much better.
  13. For a 0-0 draw I enjoyed that game, can't believe Stephen Thomson and Steven Naismith thought it was a dull game. Hearts were on the front foot for 25 mins in the second half and other than Henry's overhead kick clearance we were never in bother. Welsh was absolutely immense and McGinn not far behind. I felt Slatterys was falling into his old bad habit of playing for fouls. He's better when he's concentrates his efforts into the creative part of his game. However I do temper that with how physical Hearts were. Just was outstanding all over the park with the exception of his final ball. Similarly Said has some great skills but his final ball is also poor. That said those are small criticisms I thought we were a good watch again and would have merited the 3 points. Also a terrific turn out by the Motherwell fans and by the reaction at the end I think most enjoyed it. Fir Park has a really good vibe with these bigger crowds lately.
  14. And force them to make Hanley the playmaker, worked a treat
  15. Didn't work for Kilmarnock 😉
