Not great. Welsh going off didn’t help but hopefully we can change a few things at half time. im sure I’ll be panned here but I just do not see anything in Hendry. I’m not saying he’s not a footballer but I just don’t see him suited to our game. He doesn’t hold the ball up well, he’s not a guy who has the vision to play a clever pass or make a clever move. He’s busy but he’s not getting into any positions to take chances? Which if he was getting into positions I wouldn’t mind so much and I’d think goals will come but I don’t see them coming. To be fair to him I do see a Really frustrated footballer who is trying but who maybe knows it’s not happening and is lacking in confidence. A killer for a striker.

I think today shows how badly we need someone to spearhead our attack and get on the end of crosses. Hendry works hard but he seems more of false nine/10 type of player. Comes deep and forgets to try and get into box.

A very poor first half, helped along by a referee who thinks every fall is a foul... and we (Slattery) is every bit as guilty as Utd. Hopefully a HT shake-up, coz that ain't winning any game.

Not sharp enough and passes going astray. Utd working hard to close spaces down. Nothing really sticking up front. Wing backs not in game. So lots to improve in the 2nd half.

Even when he is getting fouled he needs to make the effort to keep playing. After a while refs just stop giving free kicks even when he does get fouled.
