  1. Past hour
  2. I don't either. I think it's getting ridiculous. Like seriously. I have more to worry about in my life than that statement when he was leaving or whether he sold his story to the Daily Record. We've moved on and he's moved on I actually think he did really well to keep us up after Hammell went and he deserved the job after that I was talking to someone this week who used to work in the catering side at Fir Park and he couldn't say enough good things about him.
  3. Mmmmmm..... Maybe! 😍😍😍 I think if he hadnt left the way he did most fans wouldnt be overly fussed about the way it played out or his return. But he did that. Nobody else. So whilst I agree with your point in principle (particularly as it was me that called Dougie Imrie our pantomime villain) it is still football, it is still tribal, and most of us are utter hypocrites! My main point about this not getting too heated and personal before the game is that I think it might actually impact negatively on the team ifnit gets too toxic, and I wouldnt want the "feel good factor" that we are experiencing just now to be diminished because of fit. However, ultimately its football. The fans will do what they want to do and theres not a blind bit if difference anyone on here can make of it. Fingers crossed for a great game, a grwat atmosphere and a Motherwell win. Stuart who? 😍😍😍

  5. I just don't get the hatred towards Kettlewell. He saved us from relegation in his first season in charge, there is almost no doubt about that. We got our first league win at Ibrox in many years. He got the best out of KVV, turned Theo Bair into a sellable asset and introduced Lennon Miller to the first team squad. It is generally agreed that he worked his socks off for the club to the point where it all got too much in the end. When the fans turned on him in the last few games ( as they did very vocally) he reacted in kind and made some ill judged decision. It happens with human beings under considerable pressure. Would any one of us want him back as manager of our club? No. Does he really deserve to be slaughtered for contributing to the continued SPFL status of our club, a status that allows JBA to now do his thing? I don't think he does. There were some comments over the last few weeks about Dougie Imrie being the pantomime villain and how tragedy shows how shallow those negative emotions actually are. Do we really need Kettlewell to be another pantomime villain so that we can enjoy the football and feel validated in our opinions?
  6. I don't think any club who plays us should be subjected to an intimidating atmosphere - when was the last time that happened at Fir Park. There are lots of kids going too. Who cares that much - I certainly don't. Just playing into his hands if we give him a hard time.
  7. We can do that without targetting Kettlewell. He wasnt the manager of Rangers and the atmosphere was great at that game....... Edit: I have no issues with us giving him it tight at the end of the game if we have won. He has certainly earned it......
  8. And here I thought a home crowd creating an intimidating atmosphere for the visitors was a positive.
  9. I'm not going to boo him. Will reflect badly on our support if we do. Headlines horrible Motherwell fans booed Kettlewell. I couldn't care less about him now. Time to move on
  10. Of course he deserves criticism. But its got nothing to do with Motherwell fans showing themselves up. Its got everything to do with providing a distraction from what is important. Ignore him. Win the game. Gloat later.
  11. He deserves every bit of criticism he may get for being dishonest and disrespectful. If it happens on Saturday, it will not make Motherwell fans look bad but show us standing up for ourselves. And if he thinks that justifies his previous opinions and lies, then so be it. He is a twat.
  12. Greetings folks as I enjoy holiday cocktail, yup despite my views I don't want him getting stick as plays into his hands. Dignity by deacon blue not his favourite song as he certainly didn't leave with any. . Just pump them and spend 90 mins singing JB songs....YAMMAS!
  13. I didn't either. I've seen a few folk on Facebook saying he should expect abuse but that's just pointless in my view.
  14. Im another one who didnt mind Kettlewell too much whilst he was here. He did work bloody hard and did his best whilst here. The results and performances initially were very good. But his last 6 months were horrendous. His stubbornous to change, his downfall. And the way he left unforgiveable. Letting Saturday be about him though would be a distraction from what is really important, getting our first 3 points of the season. Once thats in the bag he becomes fair game and should get both barrells! Until then, just back the team like we did against the dead club and we will be fine.
  15. Ran to The Sun newspaper for an exclusive nothing decent about that me thinks. But folk need to behave themselves on Saturday and embrace the beautiful football we are going to play and pocket three points.
  16. Exactly this, until we win 3-0 and give him it tight at full time 🤣 in all fairness, Kettlewell didn’t bother me a great deal when he was manager and I think he worked hard and did his best until the final few weeks and his ridiculous petted lip, so I’ll not be giving him too much stick and Stevie Frail is also his assistant who showed quite a bit of class at the end with us, so he is always welcome back.
  17. 100% this. We should have Fir Park jumping with positivity about the JBA team and approach. Our fanbase supporting in an uplifting atmosphere that SK could never achieve. That alone will deflate him.
  18. Definitely think the fans should treat this as a normal game and forget/ignore SK being their manager. No banners, no songs, no abuse just focus on supporting our team. Let’s just get 3 points cause that’s really what matters. COYW!!!!!
  19. Kettlewell spends five minutes explaining why it’s definitely not about him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cvgnyjg2vzdo
  20. We can only hope. The ban would be worth it. I'll even pay for the statue.
  21. JBA could definitely take him in a fight.
  22. In fairness he was hardly going to say “ya I’ve heard that this Stuart guy was a bit of a wank and he said some shit about the fans when he left so we hope we can create more misery for him on Saturday”. But in all seriousness he does come across very well and very professional. Let’s just hope we can get our first league win with him in charge under our belts on Saturday.
  23. Jens was asked about Kettlewell and said that anyone who left Motherwell if they return to the ground should be treated with respect (not just Kettlewell) and the most important thing is the football. He also said he didn't know much about the issues - he comes across as a very nice person
  24. Soon as i heard Johnny K is back then that was it for old Kettlebellend easiest three points we shall get all season and if Killie end the game with eleven players on the pitch it shall be a modern day miracle they are not handelling the Just without picking up cards. Slatts,Johnny K and Longelo in a convincing 3-0 win.
