Thats about as comfortable a 45mins as Ive seen us have at Tynecastle. We have got right in the heads of the Hearts players and their fans know it! Some of the howls from their fans after backpasses have been delightful! Played exactly the same as we did in Paisley and Perth but with a little more menace in the final third. Need to keep doing what we are doing and get the second goal......

great to see us continue to have majority of possession and get a goal. Just is a touch of class but the whole team deserve credit. I love that we're playing well and the natives have been booing their own team. Another goal from us will send them apoplectic - what a shame that would be.

Good first half need another goal though

A very good first half performance and a deserved lead to show for it. However, we need the next goal.

Most comfortable half at tynecastle i have ever seen. Surely they can't be as passive in the 2nd half.

Hearts are just not coping with this at all. I can’t remember a half of football we’ve played such good football. That was immense. we do need another goal but if they keep up this level of performance it’ll come.

Not at the game but listening on BBC Scotland Michael Stewart said Motherwell are battering Hearts and lucky to be losing 1-0 Need a 2nd goal now

Another benefit of playing this new style is it really sucks the life out of the opposition fans. There's not much for them to get excited about when we are pinging the ball around.
