  1. Past hour
  2. Did anyone have problems swiping their season ticket cards at the turnstiles today? I was ok, but I saw quite a few guys being denied entry, even though they said they had purchased a ticket and loaded it to their card.
  3. I'd love Bannan to come to Motherwell but it makes no sense for him at all. Top Championship clubs want him and he'd need to take a massive pay cut, so unless it's family reasons I can't see it.
  4. Kettlewell brought 4 buses today to park plus we look for perfect goal too often but we got the win. Fadinger and just made a difference ( jeez if only Just could finish), slatts frustrating again and young Luca looked nervy but a successful day
  5. Priestman done well but felt Fadinger made a difference
  6. Well we played v Celtic with no strikers and beat them 2-0. With JBA, anything is possible
  7. Yup...to be honest he hates a physical battle...especially against thugavetti
  8. Was thinking of giving it to AP out of sympathy...
  9. 147 fans for a Scottish cup tie = The Kettlewell effect.
  10. Unremarkable game with a much-changed starting eleven, but job done. Why was Luca Ross at left-back? He’s an attacking winger.
  11. Offered nothing? More like given nothing
  12. https://the72.co.uk/2026/01/17/sheffield-wednesday-barry-bannan-eyed-motherwell/ Almost certainly a load of old tosh but here’s some Barry Bannon to ‘Well click bait. He is a JBA type of player and in great shape for his age. Watched him boss it at the Valley earlier this season and not surprised to see top end championship teams linked with him. Doubt we could afford his wages
  13. No real standouts today, but Priestman edges it for me.
  14. I thought Priestman was excellent. He always made himself available and never wasted a ball. If Watt is off he is an obvious replacement.
  15. Went for Priestman. Looked comfortable all game and has never let us down when he has come into the team.
  16. Today
  17. We can play much better but still controlled the game,, kept our patience and the goal eventually came. Would have took a 1-0 with no injuries before the game. Great to see a 5K plus crowd.
  18. I was this poster and still am of the opinion prior to Michael Wimmer becoming Motherwell manager Slattery for the most part was pish.
  19. £2m plus Welsh, assuming they also make it worth Welsh's while to take a pay cut...?
  20. Thats cheap for his value to the team and club. Him helping us get to a cup final, higher up the league and europe is worth a big chunk of money now. Player valuations have increased , especially when there is all to play for.
  21. VAR is a farce. We dont need a pointless review program to confirm what we know already. Run by biased, corrupt and useless officials. These guys dont want to stop their big brown enevelope appearance fee at friendly games.
  22. I love Maswanhise but now wouldn’t be the worst time for a bidding war, particularly with Celtic a little desperate. £3mil+ for a player that originally joined on trial would be some return.
  23. With 30 months left on his contract and Celtic being desperate we are in the driving seat. It will have to be silly money surely for us to sell in this window. Celtic are not a good team and we can finish above them so why weaken us to strengthen them? Strikers scoring goals, with pace are rare.
  24. He could have just been there to watch the game. The media are really keen to make a Maswanhise move happen.
  25. Ap stam did try. He’s just shite, absolutely rotten. Needs to be moved on pronto
  26. I thought Ross had beating of his man and should've ran at him more often
  27. He gave the impression of someone who just could not be bothered today. His usual workrate was non existent. Mind it cant be easy playing against 3 center backs and deep midfield. Also we seldom cross the ball and created nothing for him, tho he has to get into decent positions.
