  1. Past hour
  2. Kettlewell spends five minutes explaining why it’s definitely not about him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cvgnyjg2vzdo
  3. We can only hope. The ban would be worth it. I'll even pay for the statue.
  4. JBA could definitely take him in a fight.
  5. In fairness he was hardly going to say “ya I’ve heard that this Stuart guy was a bit of a wank and he said some shit about the fans when he left so we hope we can create more misery for him on Saturday”. But in all seriousness he does come across very well and very professional. Let’s just hope we can get our first league win with him in charge under our belts on Saturday.
  6. Today
  7. Jens was asked about Kettlewell and said that anyone who left Motherwell if they return to the ground should be treated with respect (not just Kettlewell) and the most important thing is the football. He also said he didn't know much about the issues - he comes across as a very nice person
  8. Soon as i heard Johnny K is back then that was it for old Kettlebellend easiest three points we shall get all season and if Killie end the game with eleven players on the pitch it shall be a modern day miracle they are not handelling the Just without picking up cards. Slatts,Johnny K and Longelo in a convincing 3-0 win.
  9. Yes,Probably best way to sicken him is a good gubbing
  10. Sounds like the players got worked hard on Monday morning! 🤪🤪🤪
  11. I got my info from, amongst other places, The Scotsman online: When does the Scottish transfer window close? When is transfer deadline day? The Scottish Premiership transfer window officially opened on Monday 16 June 2025, though in a change to usual summer windows, an additional transfer window was created between 1 June and 10 June, allowing clubs involved in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup to register players. The Scottish Premiership transfer window will officially close on Monday 1 September, at the earlier time of 7pm. This is slightly earlier than the last few windows and is aligned with many of the top European leagues. Talksport agrees: The Premier League, EFL and Scottish Premiership summer transfer windows will close on Monday, September 1, at 7pm. Maybe we should jsut get everything done by Monday morning to be sure.
  12. Looks like BBC agrees with Record
  13. September 1 is the final day clubs can register transfers in Scotland. It's been confirmed to Record Sport that the deadline is the usual time of 11pm up here despite the change down south.
  14. Or just be really really nice to him. Even after we win 4 - 1.
  15. Re ketts, it won't happen but if the fans treated him with indifference rather than boos, that would annoy him more, he loves to be centre of attention Or make him do a sponsored silence.
  16. The closer this gets the more I’m envisaging us losing and Kettlewell away back down the M77 all smug and self satisfied.
  17. Watch the 3rd goal back. AP runs back towards the halfway line and drags his centre half with him, whilst doing this he's pointing exactly where SOD's ball needs to go. I think AP should be doing better with the few chances he gets but it looks like he's doing exactly what Askou wants him to do for the benefit of the team right now. The goals will come.
  18. Looking forward to it as well. Will pop in the new pub in town centre and head to Well Society Beer Garden as well. Only downer is it will be almost certainly raining. I'm relatively confident about Sat.
  19. I've never wanted to give a team a hammering more than I want us to stuff killie
  20. not that I listen to Ferry/Slane etc but I was interested in what would be said about the hearts game. fast forward to 1hr 18mins and there’s a good 6 min chat on the game. Love how JBA sounds and how he was clearly hurting after being 3-0 up.
  21. That’s a good question and something we’ve been stung with in the past by having our managers working without a set out contract ie. Gannon, Craig Brown. I don’t think we need to worry about Rangers moving for JBA if/when Martin gets the boot but it’s something worth taking into consideration especially seeing as it was never made public (to my knowledge anyway) if or what contract our manager is on.
  22. On that subject has our boy got a contract?
  23. Talking about slowish stars to the league, Derby were 19th last season are sitting 20th this season with 2 losses and a draw. Johnston is a good player. If Derby County was the best option his agent could find for a move to England, he needs a new agent. As far as money goes, I hope he is on a good deal, but if the figures are to believed, he was on £7,900 a week in Austria, which would make him the 5th or 6th best paid player at Derby if they match it. Of course there are lots of good reasons to want to live and work closer to home, and it doesn't all need to be about the money. I just hope he gets game time.
