Oh FFS what a miss!

Just to be crystal clear here. I don't associate a diagonal stripe with the orange order, rangers or anything remotely sectarian. For me it's simply that it looks like a sash with tassels mainly because the band is overly fussy. That's what I don't like about it. I could care less if someone thinks this strip design associates us with any group. Those people are beyond reasoning.

Yeah I know and I've liked our previous efforts when we brought back the plain band. I think this one the band looks a bit fussy and almost like it has tassels!

That band looks far too much like a sash for my liking. If it was horizontal rather that diagonal I think it would have worked better.

Again this is where VAR up here really falls down. They have to check the offside first, then determine where the foul is in case it's a pen, then if it needs to be referred back to the ref for a possible red and then for the ref to wander over and check the screen. It all takes far far too long, even to get to the correct decision.

Oh that first touch

Poundshop VAR falling to pieces when there's more than one check to be made in quick succession. In saying that the offside looked much clearer in real time then the freeze frame suggested. Red card check was just bizarre!

I don't agree Utd have been the better side or that it's obvious we were losing today when it went 1 - 1. A very rare bit off good link up play led to the 2nd and we've upped it since then. If Utd hold on it will be frustrating but to suggest it was a foregone conclusion is nonsense.

Granted we've not been great but Utd have been pretty poor too. Bar the 5 minutes of madness its been pretty even. Squandering chances when you're on top rarely ends well but I don't agree we deserve to be behind.

Someone needs to dig out the Craigan/Fobres offside from about ten years ago. Seem to mind a stick man Well player being drawn on to justify a horrendous offside call at 1 nil to us.

KVV is playing at exactly the level he should be, which is more than can be said for most of his teammates. He'll control the ball half the time it's played up to him, and of those he'll make the wrong decision as to what to do with it half the time, and for one in ten he'll do something absolutely amazing. He's clearly frustrated and his attitude doesn't help him any, letting it get the better of him more often than not. All that being said, you can't argue that the service and support he receives has been absolutely stinking. He reminds me of the guy at fives who's stuck in the team full of donkeys and just shoots every time he gets the ball out of sheer frustration.
