    'Dear Supporter'

*BUMP* SO.........................still not received any letter Just a reminder since the club hasn't bothered to tell me and I dare say many others yet. by the rule set above If you are a season ticket holder and haven't taken up the offer you should have contacted the club today at the latest, although I think this 5 day rule was relaxed the last time but some things do change eh Fatcalf So get your vouchers out and utilise the free ticket offer otherwise the value of your season ticket offer will be poor in relation to PATG punters. while we're at it seems the pricing experiment has changed a little prices for the Sellik (LEAGUE) game have been released:
  2. Joe, I'm in no way saying people are daft I just think some who would never have expected a refund have been swayed by internet chat and are having a pop at the club. something thats levelled at me often enough. If fans couldn't make the scheduled monday night fixture they should have returned their tickets in the five day window, now be honest with yourself if you had a ticket and after the call offs, chances are you would have held onto to it ,as wel,l lets be honest its shouldn't have went ahead last night. If anyone did hold onto their ticket thinking it wouldn't go ahead, well imho that s their choice and as such they have no complaint. If they spoke with the club employee who was giving out the incorrect info or they spojke with an employee who was relaying information that they had been told to that was later reversed then they and they only have an argument here. I appreciate others might feel hard done by and that £15 would make a dent in mnay peoples budget but my thoughts are that if they were not going to go on Monday and they didn't want to risk losing the cash they should have returned the ticket prior to the game. just my opinion mind
  3. NO! the date of the game was announced at least 5 (five!) days before it took place some people seem to forget that and I'll bet some that are arguing were quite happy to hold onto their ticket thinking it wouldn't be played and they would get to use it on Saturday. They could have made arrangements during those five days to return the tickets for a refund They only people that have any argument here with the club are the ones that were told directly that they could return them today or tomorrow, not the ones that were just holding onto tickets to see what panned out they took the risk of having an unused ticket. KMCalpin is right the club have tried to extend their level of service, unfortunately its backfired, sounds like his group were holding out for a Thursday or Saturday game at their own risk Welljaggy did you get told or did you read anywhere official of this return after the game policy?
  4. Did you not get the letter on the prices, good enough decision so well done both clubs who deserve credit, seems to be decent relations between the clubs on this front qnd we benefitted from the last day at Love street pricing I've already been on the blower and text hotline trying to drum up some interest hopefully everyone will spread the word and we get a bumper cup tie crowd the Club have contributed on their part lets hope we as fans can generate some extra voices
  5. I disagree Polomint D you had the option to return and receive a refund after the original date a bonus to you as the club was not required to do so you then had the same option after the 2nd 3rd and 4th postponements the game then got re-scheduled for the Monday which sadly quite a few couldn't make or choose not to travel to. an unfortunate situation but not really any of the clubs fault? perhaps people choose to hold onto the tickets thinking it wouldn't go ahead but it did and now those people have lost out, remember despite the ludicrous wether situation technically speaking last nights game was actually scheduled last Wednesday so the dig about half days at short notice wasn't required. AS it happens I was on my day off and got lucky but if it was called off and went all the way to Saturday I might have missed out due to work as not all of us have nice Mon-Fri jobs I'd probably have choose to hold onto my ticket in case it was abandoned and then fell when I could make the same as most people have done, I wouldn't have expected a refund however had it went ahead and I hadn't went UNLESS someone had told me I would get one
  6. expected this thread today discussed it on the long journey home last night my viewpoint is somewhere in the middle ground here I think, expecting a refund after the event has taken place is a little bit ridiculous, wouldn't happen for any other event BUT if the club communicated to individuals that refunds would be made available to them then to put it simply thats what should happen, however the first point still stands for all those people that didn't contact the club and are just expecting a refund because they read it on an unoffical message board. As far as I'm aware no announcement was made other than to a couple of individuals over the phone? the larger issue is of course that once again the club have cocked up wether it be one individual or a business decision thats been reversed at the last minute. But from what I can see is from the start the club tried to accomodate fans due to the nature of the game, it was oversubscribed and they thought they could refund those that lost out and re-distribute the tickets at no loss, but the number of call offs at short notice put paid to this plan. as it was only 500 tickets maybe the club should have just allowed the fans to get on with it and exchange tickets amongst themselves, would have meant less work for the club and no risk.
  7. had to wait as your mob cleaned them out, average chips, outstanding Fish
  8. on the way home were you sleeping between Auchterarder and Stirling or did you go another route? Had to overtake (slide past!) the snowplough as it was slowing to a crawl, Fair play to the Well fans in the red Golf mad it a lot easier on my eyes being able to swap about as lead car all the way home althought the lad got a right bum deal being in front when we hit the Snow WALL at auchterarder Was pleased with the result didn't think we really got going at any point but the surface conditions were not really the best for football, Really impressed by Locos, matched us in a lot of areas on the night and showed all the grit and determination we expected they would do. Thought their Keeper should have received MOTM but hey there is only one Tommy Wilson Fine Town it is too made to feel most welcome in the Butchers arms, the local bill even came in and had a chat, might just take that invite to stop in on a summers day. Business like performance for us will take some more flair to take a couple of the Buddies in the next round
  9. Just getting ready to head out and try and get to Bargeddie to get Andy P small steps and all that! pretty sure we'll make it up after looking at the nadics live camera views, coming home however thats gonna be another story anybody that knows me and hears it is off, please call or text
  10. and the radio Scotland weather broadcast at 11:00 reports the poor weather spreading North fast expect up to 8 inches of snow thru stirling, perthshire, aberdeenshire etc Who is the referee? where is he from? what sort of time will he get there??
  11. Fek the east Coast, the roads are bad enough in sunny Uddingston I'm just away out to try and dig the car out and make it to the Scotmid for supplies as I can see us being snowbound for a day on the roads Reckon a box of space raiders and a couple bottles of Irn-Bru will keep us going. fuckin mental decision giving the current weather, Scottish football, Eh? call games of in decent conditions and declare them on when the parts of the country are at a standstill, pathetic
  12. I'll remove Las from the list as I'm not sure but Klimpl imho stays on the list a first team player who will not be here next season unless a new contract is sorted to replace the loan deal. as for Quinn has he had an extension? from the player database:
  13. Managers also need to think longer term especially ours or is it the guardian who needs to have a re-think? Who exactly do we have out of contract at the end of the season from our very small squad? Buzz Quinn Hughes Malcolm Klimpl Lasley?? Porter (now gone) not quite sure of all the above and would guess a number of others will be up as well
  14. If the transfer goes ahead in time (more wishful thinking than any rumour) Chris deserves best wishes for the future. He's been a model professional from a fans perspective, always put in the effort, never complained when it wasn't going his way but just knuckled down and got back on track. His goals were very valuable and enjoyable, but it was also a pleasure to see his contribution to the team, he might not have got MOTM every week but he would be well up for MVP in my eyes. I still think its not that fair valuation (please let there be a sell on clause!) and I still think the club has lost its way when it comes to maximising the asset return. But it was clear when he signed that our club was a stepping stone I just wish we had a business team that could negotiate longer term deals with clauses allowing players to move on earlier in the deal when a slighltly more substantial fee is offered (more wishful thinking ) But Thanks for the memories Chrissy Porter and all the best for the future, perhaps one day you'll want to come back and play alongside Faddy as mentioned somewhere above (dreaming now )
  15. that about covers it for me, it used to be simple the favourites were playing for the 'Well and the villians were all the other *banned word*. so for me bottom six but its clear other clubs have similar problems meaning if there were a scientific way of measuring it we probably have no clear split in the different team supports
  16. They were advised that with the Weather forecast fans wouldn't get soaked etc Don't think they will take that decision again if they listen to their fans who imho are right to complain albeit this boys complaining to the wrong people. But again most of his points are valid shite tannoy, manky seats, slippy stairwells,, shite atmosphere, terrible playing surface. Can you really argue against the points not who to blame
  17. Can't argue with many if any of his points The only one I could is his argument saying it is only motherwell who have a shit playing surface. Hibs is/was also terrible and not so long ago John hughes was complaining that the Grangemouth pitch was terrible (they don't own the stadium and the council who do were allowing Rugby? to be played on it) I'm sure there are others as well, But lets face it ours is Terrible (again) and his points about the accomadation are valid

I've done hell of a lot of digging to find this funding request and the reasons on which it was refused I've read all the minutes for the past 2 years or so and can find no record of the request or the grounds on which it was rejected, so I went more direct and I have to say If what I have unearthed is true then it is an outrage that despite the amounts involved this has been hidden from the members and the public. I'd like the trust to reply to this as to be quite frank your pathetic reasoning that the trust wouldn't be recognised for the contribution is beyond comprehension, the trust would have received more positive publicity amongst the Motherwell support and the public at large than your amateur efforts could ever have dreamed off. To tell you the truth I feel physically sick about this. I've praised you personally and all the others who have put in a massive amount of effort for the Phil O'Donnell memorial fund work that will not be forgotten by those that know and care but someone somewhere has made a huge error of judgement regarding distribution of the MST funds. Funds that have been generated by fans for the good of the trust and the club.
  20. you must have been quite far away mate as he had headed the ball before the push and he was a good 5 yards from the post, its one of the few incidents the BBC highlights above do show clearly. A dissapointing miss from the big man but clearly he'll be as dissapointed as we are
  21. Its get worryingly close to the Saturday of the fifth round which most likely I'll have no chance of getting the nightshift off . No problem getting midweek shifts off but even in january all the weekend dates are booked. With all them sheep up there can they not just cover the pitch in wool?
  22. Agree with most of the posts so far Hammell Craigan and Clarky were all very valuable players on Saturday but Maros get the vote from me. and its not all about his blood n guts approach he's confident to make challenges with both feet he confident to lay the ball off with both feet, he's got a gritty determination to be a winner and he'll back the anyone in the whole team no best friend syndrome. As you said O'Brien polarises opinion and for me despite showing he has obvious talent and is now putting in miles more effort he's still not quite the team player (might not be his doing?) and far too often there is no end product but he is far more worthy of a starting place than anyone else from the pool.

I've said it before but I'll say it again I do not know any of the parties involved but you quite obviously cannot take your FPC hat off and show yourself to have a major grudge against WTFC that screams out loud whenever any points of discussion are raised on here.( a public forum!) Because of that I'd say that you are doing more to undermine the reputation of the MST than the OP. Even if the first post was a challenge your fellow MST members had done enough to answer it with the fact the matter was in hand, whereas you go off on one and spout off what now looks like a load of misinformation instead of stepping back and discussing it with the MST board. Pro or cons of the sponsorship aside, you clearly struggle take an unbiased opinion on the matters involving WTFC. red rag to a bull comes to mind. EDIT: and your last post just re-iterrates the fact, you think FPC more worthy than WTFC but your a,b,c fails to mention that your team isn't called WTFC and you keep going on about the team players having to join the trust to deserve the donation/sponsorship, miles oot in my opinion as then they would be as well just paying the membership money into the own club coffers for the amounts concerned. It shouldn't be about forcing people to join the trust to get sponsorship it should be about promoting the trust and making people want to join AND ANOTHER EDIT: just seen in your post the trust declined a request from John Porteous (club physio) because it was too much money for not enough return ???????????? I've seen the accounts report from the trust and was also led to believe that the Trust was setup to help the club and support. I would have thought that since next to fuck all was done for the club last year (I'm sure you'll correct me but the disabled section is all I recall and its not even started for other reasons) any request from one of the most critical departments of the club should have went thru' without the requirement for a return. That statement has pissed me off more than any of your petty squabbling and since its fans money your talking about we're not getting enough return from your decisions
  24. I'd read the Sun article as him saying his Loan 'contract' with Motherwell runs out in the summer and he would like to stay longer
  25. You'll not see any of the baffling decisions on the BBC highlights here, worst selection of highlights I've seen this season, terrible not showing any of the major talking points regarding the inept referee and officials
