Not sure what games your watching. No 1 - we are not playing 4-4-fucking 2. We are playing 4-4-1-1 or today a more 4-3-3. No 2 - Alex Gorrin has been instrumental in our recent form and I amongst others thought he was excellent today. Won every header, was very strong in the tackle and kept the game flowing with quick passes and changes of play. To say he’s a 5’s player is just utter nonsense.

Yes and parking around the ground is generally no bother in the housing estate. 5-10 min walk to the stadium. Actually gutted I’m not making it today. Which is really wild considering last Saturday night my apathy was at an all time high. However watching Campbell, Hastie, Turnbull backed up by Ariyibi, Grimmy etc has really got me buzzing. Again just a good performance to keep this going is essential. I’m really hoping for a goal for Main as think that could spark him on a run. He’s a total confidence player.

Oh and my only gripe for tonight is Ariyibi .... why the hell is taking all the set plays. Really enjoy his wing play but he is shit at corners and free kicks. Get Turnbull or Gorrin on them.

Agree 100%. He was far from hiding. That’s just shit talk. Was in about everything tonight. Badly needs a goal and tbh I don’t think he is far off. Played the loan striker role well tonight.

Well fair fucks I enjoyed that. Watching Turnbull is an absolute joy. The lads range of passing, movement and technical ability is class. Backed by the powerful running and skill of Hastie & Ariyibi will certainly entertain. Central midfield balance looked so much better with Gorrin & Campbell who I thought played well together. Gorrin started a bit slack but grew in a great performance, his ability to release the ball quickly allowed our attacks to start quicker. Hopefully he can get a run in the team as I think he will only get better. Campbell his usual tenacious self and god did we miss him on Saturday. Main I thought worked his arse off in the lone striker role. Held up well and caused bother. Apart from a ten mins spell in the first half that he kept giving the ball away. A goal would spark him off I think. Grimmy was brilliant as the flying full back and Tait also had his best game in a while. Genuinely delighted at that tonight but also tinged with a what the fuck was Saturday all about. That team would have pumped Ross County.

Disgraceful performance today from start to finish. No pace, creativity, width, fight or desire to win the game. Bullied by St Mirren who where truly awful. They came playing for a draw, time wasting from the off and we got caught with a stupid sucker punch. So so predictable to play against and also so so easy to play against. Just utter utter shite.

Fuck me. Another riddy of a result coming up. 3-0 against a shite Celtic.

I don’t think he is as bad as some people make out. However I also don’t think he will be as big a loss as others make out either. Some of the worst midield performances of recent years have involved teams with Rose in the middle. When we are chasing a game and behind he offers nothing however as a man marker and some to do the dirty work in a game he is decent enough. He can be badly let down by his mobility and quite often seems to tire very easily. However always gives 100%. Definately a really top bloke though so all the best but not gutted he has gone on a playing front.

Watched this mob again and I cannot for life of me fathom how we conceded 7. They are utterly shite.

That’s what really infuriates me. You would believe players are unable to find other work when their career finishes. Utterly kills me when you hear the short career chat. They retire essentially in the prime of their lives and are physically in a better condition than your average Joe who works a 40hr week from the age of 18. I understand that they want to maximise the time playing to make as much as possible but the short career chat is ridiculous.

Actually sorely tempted to not bother my arse going to the game now. Donnelly & Sammon, away and throw shite at the moon Robinson.

I think one thing for the team will be sure. Robinson will shoe horn Andy Rose in somewhere. I think he will come straight in for McHugh. This is what I think will be the team. Not my preference but what he will pick. Who else is thinking there will be a guaranteed penalty for Rangers today or a red card for Motherwell. Ref got to even up from last week....

Small thing but really annoyed watching sportscene today. A young 19 yr old Scottish midfield talent scores two goals from outside the box in 4 days and also controls the play of the game and barely merits a mention. However you are guaranteed if that had been a player from Rangers or Celtic then they would have had their own 20min segment. Spent longer talking about Callum McGregor moving to a different position in midfield that talking up a cracking goal from a talented young player.

Nope Adam Livingston at left back for me. As much as I like Tait, I believe Livingston would thrive in this new formation. Similar to Cadds on the right hand side.

David Fucking Turnbull. That lad is a footballer of the top degree. Touch, movement, passing, vision and physically is more than able to compete. Plus he can ping a ball be it a set piece or off the deck. This is a player who will earn us major cash. Taken long enough for him to get a chance but he clearly deserves to be there.

Great result. Happy days. Delighted for Turnbull and Cadden.

Young Turnbull now needs to come off to protect his development.....

To me the funny part was how he states we have youngsters who can improve us but he doesn’t want to bring them in to harm the development. Eh if they improve us then play them FFS.
